HAS HIT THE BULLS EYE WHN HE SAID IT. MANY PLAYERS IN THE TEAM HAS CASUAL APPROACH TO FITNESS COMMITMENT AND OVERALL - AND NOT B SURPRISED, FIGHTING SPIRIT FOR THE COUNTRY.
AND STILL WE WUD HAV MADE IT HAD IT NOT BEEN BEING LIL OVERCONFIDENT AND EASING A BIT AFTER BEING 90/2 AFTR 10 OVRS
India media and most of the fans need some sanity check. It is a game. Dont make it more than it is. You guys make false gods out of these players, have super expectations, they go out to conditions they are not used to, bubble bursts and then the lynching starts. For media, anything is sensation. Dhoni makes one statement, it becomes another in the news. Dumbo fans read it, start their BS and vent anger. Grow up guys grow up.
As for the unfit players, they need to get back into shape. What was BCCI doing allowing these players in the team ?. BCCI is the one which needs to answer a lot.
The sad fact is that the new bunch of cricketers MSD,Yuvraj etc are more professional as they seem to play only as per amount of money offered.
Gone are the players like Sachin who cried in dressing room when India lost to Pak when match depended on him or Dravid who became emotional when India was out of 2007 WC or even Jumbo Kumble who bowled with a broken jaw against Windies.
Performing only as per money offered is the new norm where IPL is the MNC firm paying high salary while BCCI is more like a govt job with lower pay,so lesser work.
Gone are the days when cricketers really used to play for country,is now replaced by leagues.

You mean we need more cry babies who cant handle pressure ?. Because someone does not emote, does not mean they dont feel. Thats real childish stuff

No,I mean players who give excuses that IPL matches and parties have caused them fatigue and therefore really cant play well for the very national team that gave them fame and fortune.
You should be aware of something known as patriotism I guess.

Let us observe one thing here, that India is a more successful team now than it was in the era of Tendulkar, Dravid and Kumble you mentioned. Agreed, India played pretty badly in this world cup, but India loses less now than it used to in those 3 great players time. These 3 obviously were great players but their crying did not win India many matches. We glorify past too much.

It is not about glorifying about past but seeing the lack of any sort of effort by the newer crop of players during the game and brushing their own shortcomings by blaming it on IPL.
in team india, prefference is given to individuals not to the interest of team. from last 1 year and half significant change in the attitude of yuvraj and dhoni can be seen. behaving like prime minister.
see the way sachin has developed his cricket lyfe. he has been a player and represantative of india. nothing more than that. but now our new heroes are feeling that they are more great than sachin.
wenever yuvi goes out to bat he acts like he is the best in world. loser cant even face a good pace and little spin.
dhoni acts like he will win the game in last two overs and he can achieve the rurate of 20 in thelast overs. poor guy just tryng to maintain his average.
jadeja ......the most lucky guy to have selected in team. usefull for nothing.
gambhir------i read a couple of his interviews when he told so many things about the batting of sehwag. " m not some one who ll only play for public, i like to continue to the end. hitting boundaries is not all:" etc etc.... these words were told by him after scoring some good runs on dead wickets... loser u have to reborn again to go to the level of viru.......
nehra.... the most inconsistent. after playing for so many years dont even kknow were to pitch the last ball wen 3 runs r required to win.
pathan.... give him some lolypop spin on flat tracks, he will sweep it for six. plzzzz dont ask him to play fast bowling

our current bunch of players are found attractive by the girls/women who are participating in the parties thrown by the IPL franchisee. sachin unfortunately is only 5'4 1/2'' tall, shorter than all the girls in the parties, thus he feels an inferiority complex, and avoids going there.

in this enviroment of politics, kirsten can do good if he proposes name of Lallo Prasad for the captain. at the same time, he can make sure india remains at same level when dhoni is the captain.
now we are getting fitness report from the trainer. this is not enough.i want a 3 member fitness committe of character integrity & who knows the game very well should be appointed. captain or coach , board, seletion committe chair man should not interfere. The list of 20 fit players should be cleared by the committe& this list should be announced to the public instead of present probables. How come the captain himself last time told some unfit players have been selected & now coach airing the same type of views after defeat is not acceptable. This shows the current practice of clearing the players by the trainer is full of compromise& there are interference by vested interest.whether ipl or no ipl board should be committed to nurse band of international players of form & fitness at any time following australian. Now they have 4 or 5 world claass players. Our zahir & nehra are not even fit to play Ranji. let us not prolong or give immunity to players of past performance ( yuvi zahir, harbhajan etc etc )if they are not fit mentally strong , form is poor.the selection of yuvi is questionable when he did not play well in ipl.international bowlers either should be able to take wickets or contain run( see australian bowlers). also ask each players their capacity to play how much in a calender year& specific interes sachin would have played well even now.Board is not committed to serious cricket, but
SA Players are super fit and merrily play for other nations.. hire 4 - 5 of them.. dye their hair color, change color of eyes like SRK in baziagar and let them play for India with name like Subramaniyam, Vekateshwarulu, Dingarwala etc and our oversized fat ba..rds can watch TV just like us and ofcouse critize them.

why you want only dark skinned names...what about their skin...i suppose even the colour of bollinger, hayden, etc has changed to dark one by remaining in chennai...

Dark skinned names genuinely appers to be a selection by Srikant..
Dhoni's waist has grown big. Yuvraj's waist has gone bigger! Rohit Sharma, so young, but still has 2 movements in his body while moving- one above waist and one below waist.

You must be sleeping wtih dhoni to see his waist. Yuvrajs is visible even with the clothing to all. He needs to shape up.
Re: Ban this game

what about politics and law and order in india... if you keep on banning all the evils one day...
for mallu cobras its good news...they will surely want these pot bellies in their team... yuvi will be the captain and rohit will be vc... so the team goes as follows
mat hayden yuvraj jayawaredene ramesh powar zzhaher khan rohit sharma s shreesanth...
seems they might be searching for 4 good pot bellies
