I do not understand what you wanna say.
Do u know Zaheer went for 17 runs?
So, stop finding finding fault in one bowler of CSK.
Blame must go to CSK Captain who could not defend 180 runs.

Dhobi is the most useless in T20.
Last w cup T20- we lost all matches due toslow batting of dhobi. strike rate less than 100.
IF CSK to do well, remove politician dhobi

You are right. Perera's over could be the turning point of the match. A tight over at that stage would have put considerable pressure on MI. Yet, MI still had big hitters in the fray and could well have won the match.

Think of it this way.... Why was he given a over at this stage by Dhoni? He could have brought Murali on?
So... Thank you Dhoni.

by Prabodh Jain on Mar 26, 2010 07:35 AM  | Hide replies

SRK thinks himself above India. He thinks himself the Global Star. He care less how common Indian feel and whatevery happen to common Indian and his family. He knows he got money and he got fame, and him n his family is always provided top class security at the expense of Indian Taxpayers and he is going to be safe.

All he cares about promoting himself globally and making good money out of all these. No wonder why he is the most popular bollywood actor in middle east and pakis and even in indonesian. Even to the extent, Muslim country Malaysia honors him by offering Malaysian citizenship..

I am not against Indian Muslim atall, but seriously oppose SRK's selfish and arrogant attitude.

Prabodh Jain,

It's not good 4 U 2 comment on somebody's popularity. Popularity is nothing 2 do with that concerned clebrity particular their attitude/Character/money wise.

Not because of Muslalmann he's so popular in whichever country.

V need 2 speak about his acting talent only rather touching & going into theirnpersonal life.

Atlast, V should be happy that an Indian is so much popular in many countries rather seeing him as a Musalman (or) Mumbaite which is my only request 2 U.

I think U R unnecessarily touching the Islamic sentiments. Mind U, neither I am a Shahrukh's Fan nor supporting the Muslims in this message.

Every person has got a different attitude.

suryanarayanan ramesh,

You're missing the point entirely and giving me unnecessory ethic lesson. Even your lecture on ethic is all over the place without any flow..:)

I am not going to his personal life nor anybody else here, who objected SRK's pro pak stance. He is a public figure and every one has rights to comment on his action/behavior/attitude and so on

We're not talking about how he treats his wife and etc, that's called intruding into his personal life...

CSK Batting
by B M on Mar 26, 2010 07:28 AM  | Hide replies

I think CSK batting did not use their batting resources fully. It is a shame that with just 2 wickets down and Dhoni still to come, they could manage only 180. I think they should have really pushed for 200, and for that purpose, Badrinath should have started playing big shots earlier than he did, specially because big hitters like Dhoni, Morkel were yet to bat. It would have required just one big over for CSK to reach 200. Badrinath could possibly have not done this but if Badri had accelerated earlier and even got out, someone like Dhoni could have well taken them to 200. CSK failed to make full use of a solid foundation. Just like Pollard's cameo at the end made MI's work very easy, some sort of similar innings in the last overs of CSK could have added 10 or 20 runs to their total and made a difference to the result.

Does SACHIN deserve BHARATH RATNA !
by shane bond on Mar 26, 2010 07:02 AM  | Hide replies

He is in the best form of his life in T20. He is tearing bowlers apart with his elegant stroke making. He has taken Mumbai Indians to the top almost single handedly. But what makes him play for IPL, and say no to Team INDIA - MONEY ! Considering his current form, I am confident that we can bring home the world cup if he joins the team. It might be sachin who takes the final call as no one can force him, but a player who prefers money over his own country surely need not be considered for any national award.

There are 2 categories of Sachin haters writing on this forum:

Cat-1: Those of criticise him from continuing to play and blocking youngsters.

Cat-2: Those of criticise him for not playing for the national team (20-20).

How is it possible for Sachin to satisfy both these categories of morons at the same time??? Inspite of being a super performer in tests and ODIs, Sachin remains in a no-win situation with idi0ts like you.

Well, I have been away from the desh for 2 decades.. but I can say that India has a defeatist attitude about dealing with terror. The post 11/26 actions were very weak... Indian politicians really needed to grow a pair.
I was driving to work when the Century Bazaar (1993) bombs went off and the do-nothing of the govt really pissed me off. Thats when I pretty much decided to leave India, because the leaders do not have the balls to fight pak.

by Gorango Thakurta on Mar 26, 2010 01:47 AM
No, of course not... pak is a well known rogue nation. But why is India not blowing them into outer space? Like George W showed, you must be tough with terrorists. Cant reason with them.

But why are we not talking cricket?

Gorango,
The series of events that have happened over one and half decades in India are quite unfortunate and the communities got polarised thanks to the single minded attitude of one community and the appeasing politics of several political parties. There are several bloggers on rediff forum who purposefully provoke amd this has been my experience

My message seems to be misplaced and i feel sorry if that hurt you.

OK, thanks. Please do not rush to judge people. I know that when I lived in India, I used to feel terrible when innocent people were blown up routinely. And the leaders / newpapers kept saying some secular crap and no mozi leader came out against it. I dont want to go theer again... just happy to lead a quiet life here. I am sorry for getting riled. So you were debating!! For what? To show that you are an intellectual or secular breed.
These topics are not for debate. How many 26/11 will it take to open your eyes and stop debating in favor of

--People like Sharukh who support a country that bleeds us

--Inclusion of players from Porkistan in IPL---which means giving our money to these players which in turn (money receive in tax by Porki gov.) will be used to bleed us more.

That is why I having been telling you through our conversation–Stop acting as intellectual or Pseudo Secular
