I am sachin fan.Still I think Dravid and Sanjay Manjerekar are technically superb batsmen than sachin.Let us accept it.

because SACHIN has scored most run in test, highest number 100s in test, highest number of 100s in ODI, Most run in ODI, highest number of 50s in test, Highest no of 50s in ODI, and many more records. How many VVS has?

VVS and sachin are almost of same age, sachin is still performing well even in IPL also, and VVS has been drop from playing 11 after 2 match(due to non performance.)

first know the cricket, then talk about sachin. if u talk about technical, no one comes near atleast foot of sachin. y u hate ga-ga for sachin. respect your mother, motherland and sachin. dont be behave like pakis. india is fortunate having sachin. this land is fortunate to have sachin. be proud we having sachin in our country.

Yes, Sekhar Dhavan played an important knock of 50 odd runs for MI. But when he got out there were still 90 odd runs to score. What is wrong in giving MOM to Sachin who played controlled and well balanced inning of 72 runs.

Some people dont like Sachin without any reason. Foolishly they think his csores are only useful for records but not for team. But they cann't explain how it is possible.

My team is MI, but in this match, I would have liked Suresh Raina to be given the MOM. He played a role quite similar to what Sachin, but scored a few runs extra. Although he did not face the 'end game pressure' as Sachin did, his innings rescued CSK from a not so good start to put up a good total.
Shikhar no doubt played a good innings but could not have been in MOM contention today.

MOM is usually given to a player of winning side, unless match is a tight finish . I do not see anything wrong in giving MOM to Sachin.

BM, why Raina? Even Dhawan could be a close contender for MOM because he set up the platform! But, eventually the right person got the award. He was there almost till the end!

great sachin again outclasssed politician dhobi. Disapointment on face of hopeless dhobi was visible as he is always jealous of sachin
All r happy 2 c taritor SRK's team loosing badly every game nw. Another heartening thng is 2 c Shilpa Shetty's team in deep hole. Shilpa supported SRK on Paki players issue & so we want 2 c these 2 teams get loosing habit.
Once again it was a loss by CSK rather than a win by MI.
First, Hayden went too early for his shots without playing out a few balls of Harbhajan before launching his array of attacking shots.
Then, Parthiv meddled with a McLaren delivery which would have been declared a wide had Parthiv stayed in his creasing covering his stumps.
Then, the curse of CSK batted for 45 balls for his 55, while a Dhoni would have scored atleast 20-25 runs more than him. Just compare this curse with the likes of new names like Kedar Jadhav of DD and Misla of KXIP and you will realise what a folly it is for CSK team management to persist with this curse.
In the end, despite the brilliant knock of Raina, CSK ended up with about 20-25 runs short. Especially so, since the think tank of CSK should have realised that MI had made scores of over 200 twice in this edition of IPL.
Again one wonders why Raina's off spin bowling is not used by CSK more frequently. With Balaji and Jakati going for runs, Dhoni should have tried a couple of overs by Raina which could have made a difference.
The icing on the cake was the bowling of Thissara, not just for the number of runs he conceded at the most crucial juncture, but for the fact that he didn't seem to know anything about bowling at all!
Long live N Srinivasan, K Srikkanth, V B Chandrasekhar, Stephen Fleming, Venkatesh Prasad, Dhoni and the curse of the team who are frustrating and irritating CSK fans!

only wen one team commits mistake does the other team win the match...tats sports for u...i dont abt the curse but i guess the wkt was very slow..n Badrinath is like Kallis not a free stroke maker...Dhoni i doubt wud hav made any diff...Its Dhoni's fault to bring in Tushara at that crucial junture, it was a gamble which in this case dint payoff for Dhoni...

Everytime MI wins a match , MOM goes 2 Sachin. Ydays match is a bigest example of hw BCCI is biased abut Sachin. Shikhar Dhawan set the RR & made the target simple & Sachin only added to it but since he scored more runs , he gets MOM. It seems tht everytime MI plays ne match , MOM is already fixed n thts Sachin always.

Shikhar Dhawan did set the tone, but Sachin's role as not just the anchor and but also providing acceleration towards the end was very important too.
This victory was not because of any individual performances. When 2 players have made more or less the same score, it is quite normal for the jury to award the MOM to the one of plays towards the end of the innings.
In my opinion, the only other contender for MOM was Suresh Raina who played a similar knock to Sachin.

wel i think it shud hav been both..Dhawan gave the start and Sachin held one end-up. Every new batsmen struggled on the wkt so holding one end was turning point of the match. gving it Sachin was not a mistake but then had Dhawan got it wud hav added lot of confidence to him...
