@Kempt Killer, I think you shud learn to distinguish between 26/11 and Pak players. Did Pak players do 26/11? SRK supported the inclusion of Pak players during IPL, why are you mixing this issue with 26/11? And why only SRK, what did Thakerays do during 26/11? Why were they quiet? Why are you directing your anger only to SRK? Can you give a matured answer? Else this is my last conversation with you on this topic.

The problem is SRK gives advice to others to include pak players in the team but does not do the same himself. He never follows what he tells others. He says he is Muslim and islam is great religion but smokes and drinks which is against the religion and the best part of the religion.

he already gave reason for that...they were interested in only Abdur Razaaq who got injured....ok so the fact he smokes prohibits him from saying 1slam is a great religion? wow u haters just need some issue or the other against srk...u talk sh*t against srk coz he is famous..if he were just a road sweeper and making these statements u won't even care...there is a limit to jealousy...also, if u think SRK promotes Pakistan what abt RSS cohorts promoting an India without minorities? Does that make them any more right than SRK?

ok Swati, you are going in a different direction. But let me try to respond to your point also. To be honest I dont know why Pak players were not included in KKR. In terms of batsmen (I am not talking about nationality, pakistani etc.) we could have really done with a batsman like Salman Butt who played quite well last season. I am not sure why he was not taken but unless I am sure of the reason I wont be able to comment on whether SRk did that on purpose or not. If you have read it somewhere, let me know. Now regarding your other point on SRK's smoking or drinking. Yaar come on, just because a religion says it is bad, dont have to follow it by the book. What it probably means is that vices like smoking and drincome in the way of mind purification and should be avoided. I mean I would rather prefer a muslim who smokes and drinks rather than a non-smoker non-drinker suicide b0mber j1hadi, what say :-) I am a vegetarian hindu who rarely goes to the temple because I find those places crowded&congested and totally unfit for any worship. But every night I say a little prayer before going to bed. What I am taryng to say is that you dont have to follow books line by line to follow the religion. You must follow the inner meaning of what the religion preaches. Let me know your opinion on this.

BTW, I like the smoking drinking mozzies. There is a doc like that in my neighborhood, and he has the most amazing stock of single malt, and lets me drive his ferrari sometimes.

we are talking about the national stand here against the 26/11 accused. Its not about the inclusion about players, its about saying pakistan is a great neighbour, when someone knows he is a well known person around.. It when Indian gov says pak is responsible for 26/11 attacks and this indian says those are great neighbours, looks like it feels good for you, but visit that NDTV SRK you tube channel if you wont believe.

But tell me this @KemptKiller. Has India officially banned Pakistan from any games? Even in WC hockey 2010, Pakistan was invited to India. So on what basis are you saying it is a national stand? Let India officially ban Pakistan, after that if SRK says pakistan is a great neighbour, it is wrong. So please dont call it a national stand! This kind of hatred does not make sense. India is a fragile country, please dont unnecessary spread hate propaganda. I am advising you as a friend because both of us are Indians and want good things for India.

The point is Hockey is as popular in Pakistan as it's in India. They're cricket fanatic like us and boycotting their plyers is justified. Let them starve of that fun/entertainment. This sort of Trade Embargo technique that's being used universally, I don't see nothing wrong with it..

India is a fragile country and last thing India wants to have public figure like SRK, unnecessorily rocking the balance.

You know, maybe KK has a valid viewpoint. You may or not agree with it, but it seems (like many others living in India) there is a legit angst and frustration over what they perceive as pak getting away without punishment...

@Goranga, sure I dont have a problem with banning Pak. Let Indian govt ban Pak OFFICIALLY from all engagements, then after that if SRK says Pak is a great neighbour, even I will ask for his a$$. If India called Pak for WC hockey 2010 then I dont have a problem with SRK saying that Pak players should have been incuded in IPL. Because SRK is doing what Indian govt has done and not anything different. Then if you call SRK p0rki, then you shoukd logically call Indian govt also p0rki ;-) ;-) and that will sound funny ;-)

I dont know... honestly I dont follow Indian politics anymore and I last visited in 1996. Sorry, I am not proud of that, but I was too busy rebuilding my life.

But from far away the Ind-Pak rivalry seems quite unreal. But I do know that the pak govt is very shrewd and easily manages to twist the US around its little finger. Why cant India do something about its public image in the US?

Whatever SRK is doing is basically to promote himself. I remember SRK was in Detroit about a year ago. Outside of the hotel where he was staying, there were zillions of people and most of them were arabics or muslim. It was easy to figure from their language and attire. I saw this first hand because I happned to be their setting up my booth for trade show. This crowd was following him wherever he went.

Now, we had Sanjay Dutt and Akshay kumar in about the same time frame, nobody really cared except few Indians. They visited local appliace store owned by Indian and bougth cell phones. I know the owner of the store and he said they just came like regulars, bougth and left. Although they had couple people driving them around.

Use ur common sense, when police and army were dealing with 26/11 wht do u expect thakerays to do? Their action would hv only created more chaos. Now i can say wht was Cong doin they were in gov in state as well as country. I can also say wht was BJP or our Muzlim brothers were doin? Thackerays men dont guard each and every part of city but had need been they would have fought as they did in 92 riots.

@Kking, just make your point, there is no sense in saying phrases like 'use ur common sense'. We are using our common sense only, we are not drunk. KemptKiller himself asked what was SRK doing during 26/11. Then what you say about Thakerays applies to SRk as well. What is SRK supposed to do during 26/11, go out and fight? At least Thakerays have an army of h00ligans who go and create t@masha everywhere, could they not have been made available to render help to civilians at this time of crisis? Or are they available to create only commotion? Where was their Marathi spirit at this time of crisis?

Using our common sense we agree that SRK couldnt have done anything during 26/11. But SRK is a dirty business man. When he knew P@k gov is engaged in hurting ppl of india then why he had to tell that P@k is a great neighbour. Again he could have taken as many P@k players as possible in auction then why did he went out to gain sympathy of P@kis. He only wanted to make few extra bugs for his film
