Shameless bickering by all of you !!
by Proud Indian on Mar 22, 2010 07:43 PM  | Hide replies

Why does it matter if Kochi or Pune won ??? Anyway, most of the players are from all parts of the country and are abroad ??? This is the only cricket tournament in the world where we don't see any racism and gives so much of joy to the viewers !! All the comments that you people write show how much each community in this country hates each other internally.. everyone trying to one up his own state or language or religion !!!

KOCHI, THE COMRAD LAND ?
by damodaran mohan on Mar 22, 2010 06:23 PM

Well.well..well.. the comrad land of Namboodripads,Ak Gopalan ....seem to be turning the corner...and taking road to capitalism ! At least after this auction no one can say Kerala is a primarily a marxist state.Even the KKR bid three years back was from Mumbai not from Kolkatta !In general, the manyfold incraesed bidding is simply staggering. Some of the existing fr'chisees can draw some comfort.Their price also must have doubled at least. So, the existing dissatisfied owners can sell their team as it is to the losers of this round of bidding and make money straight away, because these new failed owners had quoted much more for the proposed new teams which they couldn't win.

New IPL franchises: restrict no of games per player
by dadi bhote on Mar 22, 2010 05:10 PM

To make the game more exciting and to give the players a chance to rest :

The IPL should restrict players to a fixed number of games they can play in. This will make the game more exciting and give players a chance of forced rest. If top players are expected to play too many games they will burn out and the game standard will start to fall. This way even the lesser players will get a chance to play.

Truth
by Pakkarkoya on Mar 22, 2010 04:10 PM

Lalit Modi plans to make IPL the richest sporting game on the planet in lines with NBA and EPL,he says its time for the world to wake up and watch the rising or emerging India.60% of the population are still eating grass as they cant afford food three times a day and still Indians keep saying India is developing at an alarming rate, what is the irony or is it blatant blasphemy.
