This is a complete business ... it has nthng to do with emotions.. as we can see all the southern states & maharashtra together havng 6 teams in between. While 1 in east 1 in jaipur & 2 for north ... everyone knows there is more population & bigger cities in north .. but they dont have spending power ... so they havnt gt the represenation .. the biggest irony is that SAHARA thge national team sponser chosen Pune over Kanpur which is just 80km from the Lucknow, it;s headquarters.

well both bids are fixed thats anybody knows even a child who loves cricket,cause last bidding process was cancell the smell spreads all the way.The vediocon and adani only bidders who eligible for pune and ahm'bad.The sahara and kochin's woners are not bidding that time there fore they are capable all the clause,so the result is pressurised by sahara who sporcer Indian cricket team and shashi tharoor who minister.so well planned and fix bidding for new teams.
today there is a good article regarding IPL team.will they get profit??all of you read.moreover sharukkahn is not intersed in increasing the teams as it will decrease the profit....sure there something fishy behind this.otherwise how they make profit by investing 1500 crores in kerala(more loyal to football,volleyball)

i wish these owner spent these money to buy oversea company in US, UK, Canada and AUs. this would have help not just them but also to the country. we could have got many resources for cheap price. hope this will help our economy indirectly.

Well. Guess what, the Gujju businessmen are heading the list on acquiring foreign firms. Very soon, Reliance will be the worlds biggest olefin manufacturer after the finish acquiring LNB.
As some said here that you really need to GROW UP.
Just a thought that Ahemdavad should have have been there, ahead of Kotchi. There are large numbers of Gujaratis around the world, and that should help IPL to prosper globally.

for kind y'r information mr.Anil ambani was not allowed to bid for ahmedabad team cause he was withraw there R.com sporsership in first editon of IPL.Just think hi is the 3th rechiest indian in last month's FORBES magazine which is highly recognised in the world.Imagine if he's allowed to bid for team how much money who invest to broght for team(2000 crs. or more).So, for Ambani's 2000 crs. is a miscellaneous expense so.shut up...
Its true and according to Times now,NDTV,HT,CNN IBN fact that this two frachises(pune and kochi) are loss very badely to acquired this teams cause,presently 8 teams are still not making profits except rajasthan cause its sall stack to shilpa shetty.Its officials from mumbai indians that they acqire team with cost of 750 crs. and making profits of only 7 crs. in last IPL so imagine how to get there 700 crs. in how many years. so imagine pune(1700 crs),kochin(1500 crs.),how many years to get there hard earn money from this franchises.So, its total lllllllllooooooooosssssssssssss.The only team who makes profits is players,The mammoth BCCI and Lalit Modi.

It seems like, you know only cricket, not the business in Cricket. If a series (which having 3 or 5 match with different countries) can make thousands of crores from Betting, Then can't IPL make lakhs of crores from 40 to 50 match and also the owners of the teams are well business men, who have proved their ability to make money so easy and simple?
