Ranadeb Bose is a better swing boller than Mithun
by joydeep dasgupta on Jan 29, 2010 09:49 AM

Ranadeb Bose was included in indian team but never given a chance and discarded. How come the bloody selectors evaluate his ability without a chance? He is a better swing boller than many present indian bollers today and certainly deserves a place.

Ajineya should be more consistent in the domestics and is yet to prove he is a all-rounder against tougher teams. As far as abhisheik nair is concerned, the team is house full.

REG: NEW FACES
by sivakumaran subash on Jan 29, 2010 09:07 AM  | Hide replies

The selectors seem to have got it right except Saha. I think Karthik should be given an extended run to prove his mettle in batting. In keeping he is one of the best in the business at the moment along with Dhoni. I was also wondering why Sudeep Tyagi was not considered!!

Why can't we fill up the team with all sardarjis
by kumar on Jan 29, 2010 04:03 AM  | Hide replies

That way they will confuse all cricket teams..India will be either no1 or no 10..

Badri
by Sameer Bhagwat on Jan 29, 2010 02:16 AM  | Hide replies

Badri deserves his chance . I'm not sure about Saha , he doesn't look like a capable batsman.

Next in line should be Pujara, then Rohit Sharma then Manish Pandey and then Kohli.

Saha is a wicket keeper, Dhoni still have a back problem so he is just for cover Dhoni. I agree Pujara, Manish Pandey and Kohli are raring and I am sure they will get chance very soon but I don't want to see Rohit again, I was impressed with him but his talent is for IPL only same Ajay Sharma was very good on Ranji trophy but whenever we have given chance him to play for India, he never score.

Saha is in place of Dinesh Kartik, who is really good batsman but he need some patience, he lost his opportunity and Patel also in good form but Saha is better than Patel!

Cheers,

Saha is just a slogger.
We have seen his "Aar ya Paar" batting in IPL.
