Yes. Sachin should be put in a room and locked up so nobody can harm him. It is best for India in the World Cup too.

HaHa! Very true. Even though Sachin does not deserve this award one bit, Anand did not have a choice but to say it. I am sure Anand wanted to say, "Sachin is useless, give me the award"

Sachin will be happier with Navrat(an) Korma than Bharat Ratna. Look at his shape. He is totally out of shape to play at the highest level and is a liability on the field but managing to hang on to his place by scoring when team does not need him to.

whether news is created or not but yes He(Sachin Tendulkar) deserve this award , he is a cricket legend , the people who are not agreeing with this are those who do not ever faced a duce ball and only either havent took bat in there hand or know to play childish tenis ball cricket or they are false rediff ID of foreign people who jelous of India and sachin .
If he plays for the team then he deserves that, Always playing selfish game, he plays only for record. Exposing lower order batsmen to world top class blowing attacks shows his attitude. He just wants to increase his second innings average.

There is a difference between runs which matter to the end result and runs which are accrued to the team total but mean nothing in the end result. Sachin is a master of the latter.

we all are too small people to defend or criticize sachin, nothing that we do can affect the great sachin in anyways. He is the Greatest Indian and will be awarded Bharat Ratna after the world cup . Period

ok go and check his total centuries , you will find in most of time when he hit century India has won , so get your statistics clear , to become a match winer one person is required at other side because international cricket is not gali cricket where only one person can also bat , look into his strike rate and average this are statistics which will show you does he play for himself or for team , even if you do not understand that then no one can spoon feed you , i will only sugest you to join some district cricket association and start palying actual cricket with duce ball may be that can help you and you will stop talking childish things , there you will understand what cricket is and what it demands that when to go for and when to stay , because iot clearly seems you do not have cricketing knowledge or intelegence , good luck .
