Media is to be blamed
by rajashi ghosh on Dec 20, 2010 10:32 PM  | Hide replies

We can not blame Tendulkar but the media obviously has to be blamed. Why give so much mileage to Sachin's 50th century when the country has lost by a huge margin. There is too much obsession with Sachin and this is not good for the game. The game and the country are taking a backseat while Sachin is enjoying the limelight. It is eaxctly like Rajnikanth and his movies. The story, the music, the co-stars are of no relevance, it is only and only about Rajnikanth

dont know what has happen to the wits of this country people. they had been worshipping a foreign agent as a god who in his record has never won the match for the nation but had almost all the records of world level in his coffer. i must congratulate the media too who hyper airiate his records like anything and fill up the pages and pages of article on his this and that.

sachin is no foreigner and it takes amazing discipline and hard work to succeed in any sport. That too without letting success affect you. Today's media needs the smallest excuse to pull down anyone, so why r they nice to sachin? only last year all were asking him to retire, but at leats they changed, u r still blind!

BUTT OUT.
by Rajesh Ratan on Dec 20, 2010 10:28 PM  | Hide replies

This guy must Retire. Why he is continuing all the time. All the greats retire actually even before fans can imagine.Mr. Sachin do not exploit the Sick mentality of all the guys and Posters here who want just one person doing all the thing. Like only Congress ruling India .Only Rahul being PM for next 50 years etc. Cricket is not individual sport like Tennis, badminton etc It is a team sport representing Country.Give others chance.Butt out. This Guy scored 100 actually due to Dhone. Dhoni's 90 deserves more credit .

ok so even if he performs he goes, while others get to eat free bread. Folks like jadeja have got so many opptys, look at Suresh Raina on foreign pitches. So you want no 1 test team to be in the dumps? dont worry it will happen soon, since sachin rahul vvs will all retire and no one seems even half as good as them..btw rahul and vvs r older

Honestly, i don't think Sachin deserves the Bharat Ratna but if someone like Rajiv Gandhi can get a Bharat Ratna, then anybody and everybody can get.

CONGRATS SACHIN , INDIA LOST
by Aries aries on Dec 20, 2010 10:22 PM  | Hide replies

Super Sachin is great.

Does not matter if India lost. Tendulkar's individual score is more important.

Tendulkar's personal records are more important than the game of cricket and the country called India.

I have never seen the public/media/politicians of any country celebrate their loss in such a joyous way.

SO IT WAS BETTER TO LOSE WITH 300 ALL OUT. He can do his best, what about the rest? So dhoni should have chased 200 why only 100, batted with the "selfish" sachin and saved the match! was anyone stopping the others from amking records?

almost 30 % 100's are scored by players on losing side... so all those 100's should not have been scored...
and then it does not make sense to score 100 in a drawn match... so that will take care of another 40%...
only 30% 100's actually should have been scored by all players till today according to u moron bird-brained logic...
for that matter why score any runs at all if u r going to lose...
