right from early days of sachin's career - critics have been continuously fuming at him.
But none of these have any effect on SRT

Its an university but student still fail to grab WC
by Kau Chiu on Dec 20, 2010 10:19 AM  | Hide replies

He himself is an international cricket University...

Rest (excluding Siddhu/ Manjrekar/ Azar/ Saurav/ Lakshman/ Rahul/ Sehwag/ off late Gautam) No one wanted to be part of that..

so this University can not produce results in final as there is no support from other staff the way it should have been..

Else by now we could have won at least 2 world cups..

His greatness lies in the expectation people have from him..

Look how sehwag throws wicket, Raina gives catching practice, No one talks..

They still keep praising Yuwraj even if he is not performing for so long..

Even a person like Ravindra Jadeja gets a call every now and then..

and..people are behind the superbatsman to forcefully retire him..

What that cricket will be after Sachin's retirement? yes I'm talking about cricket not Indian cricket..He is a global university of cricket, rotary cricket library..

Apologize for taking below examples but he is Sar/ Upanishida/Granth/ all teaching and preaching books..Holy cricket!!!

PARTIAL AND NOT SO GREAT
by mahesh mahesh on Dec 20, 2010 10:19 AM  | Hide replies

What is so great in this as he i very sure that come what may he will not be dropped as happened earlier whenever he had a lean seson.

Other crickters, with one bad season will loose the place or constantly harassed Ex.Dravid!!!

There is not even a mention of his feat as he has scored 12,000 runs in much less tests as Sachin and most of his runs has always helped India in wining or saving!!!

Dear Mahesh,
iam sorry to tell you that the hatredism which you people have towards sachin is making you talk like this. rahul played 8 extra innings than sachin to score 12000 test runs. nobody denies that rahul is one of the best in the business but everybody says that sachin is the best in the business. thats all. try to accept the truth that sachin is the greatest of all batsmen in the world.

Sachin scored century, India's chance of wining become less. We need match winner not record maker

50 centuries in 175 tests! keep playing day and night and you will create these meaningless records;this midget should call it a day now.

NO.33
by rickylara on Dec 20, 2010 10:13 AM

No. 33: The 194 in Multan in 2004 was controversial. Tendulkar, who was batting slowly, was denied a shot at a double-century when Rahul Dravid declared as India pushed for victory.

Sachin and Bradman
by Gajanan on Dec 20, 2010 10:13 AM  | Hide replies

OK agreed they play in different era and under different circumstances. But these playing itself makes Sachin much better than Bradman. To me these are key differentiators are as given below, u judge who is the best:
1. Bradman played 37 out of his 52 matches against one opponent, England i.e. he batted against same style of attack. So one can argue that he got accustomed to play against the English attack. Whereas Sachin played against all test plying nations i.e. varied style and attack.
2. Technology was not used in cricket then. Whereas Sachin was the first player to be judged run-out by the third umpire. The point is with advent of technology it is more difficult to get the benefit of doubt. Let's accept, if technology was used in Bradman's time he might have been run-out few extra times than what he did and therefore his final batting avg. would not have been 99.94.
3. Bradman scored 18 out of his 29 centuries and 61% of his total runs at home. Sachin scored 22 out oh his 50 centuries (till date) and 45% of his total runs at home. It is usually considered that there is a "home advantage" is cricket.
4. People do argue that Bradman played fast bowlers without helmet and other guards. Well but using guards is and added burden and it only slows down the speed of attack. BTW.. Sachin also played the fierce attack of fast blowers like Ambrose, Walsh, Imran, Akram, Waqar and some of the best spinners cricket has ever produced Murli and Warne.
