Yes it will not be continue...In Sports everything fair...so we should forgive him.Punishment will create extra problem for cricket & that is not good shine for cricket
But it is myopic thinking to focus only on Randiv and making it a big issue as if he is the only one in the history of cricket.
Sehwag is no saint as far as violation of spirit of game is concerned. By making this an issue, Sehwag has showed that he is a hypocrite when he says I do not play for 100 or century. That is my point. I have no problem if player play for 100 because it goes to Team score.
Someone mentioned that Sachin was also left on 98 or 99 (?), I do not remember Sachin making it a big issue.
Yes, Sachin raised his voice when a certain Jaychands raised head (denying 200 deliberately)in Indian cricket. We should criticize Jaychands of Indian crickets more.

Its not like Randiv is the only one to do..
But the things need to be stopped at some stage.. Tomorrow, a Ojha will bowl a no ball when Sanga is batting on 99.. Or a Hauritz ll bowl a no ball by a foot when Pieterson is on 99..
Why should the ugly thing repeat itself by discarding as "He is not the first one to do"???

When Sachin was batting, that was a low full toss on pads.. Nothing can be done and it went legbye four.. None can argue that he bowled the full toss intentionally(Even if it was done!!).. Plus, Malinga used to bowl yorkers at leg stump and can be ignored as a missent delivery..
How can u ignore a one foot overstep no ball????
Its a dead issue as far as match is concerned.. But something need to be done to stop this nonsense..

Its at best an act of churlish gamesmanship, there is no point in making it appear as the "Crime of the century". In fact the 4 byes conceded by Sanga before the no-ball also was dodgy as any team would make the best effort to save runs even in a lost cause. We did not see any fielder chasing the ball and trying to stop it.
What is worrying is the Hindi news channels going to town with irrational and rabble rousing statements that Srilanka has replaced Pakistan and Australia as "cheaters". This incident cant be classified as cheating. At best a childish gamesmanship act which I am sure is going to haunt Suraj Randiv throughout his life. Lets not waste too much breath about it and move on....
