yes absolutely... but now the IPL is becoming the preference for our players... see sehwag he dropped himself from three series so that he will be available for champions league...
since the t-20 and IPL has come the cheerleaders are there for every spectators.. some people go in the stadium of scant knowledge of cricket just to watch these vulger beauty .. in one match the cheear leader was lifted up by a commentator on the field.. after some years this cricket will not be a game to watch with family.. shame IPL shame
It is not the money that the younger players are getting from IPL. They are not following discipline(they dont have any restrictions) as they enjoy with drinks/women during the tournament. Hence the physical fitness is gone.As they don't have the pressure to win so Attitude/Fire power is gone. Before IPL,Even domestic players like to be fit and they will play with 100% commitment even in the domestic competitions as their performance in domestic circuit will only get a place in the Intl team(only 5 places are available in the team for youngsters).hence they will get fame/money Now after IPL there are more spots available in the team and they can easily get into an IPL team and they will be paid for 3 years irrelative of the performance
Can there be a doubt? It is a certainty. The only notable difference is that outside India, the players are regularly palying 20-20 but not being remunerated so well as IPL. This circus is destroying the essential character of the sport and encouraging more commercial value than intrinsic cricket. The earlier this is stopped the earlier the better for cricket.
The players get fame and money SINCE they are linked to NATIONAL TEAM. The solution is that there should be embargo and restrictions in playing IPL or similar tournakents when they are in NATIONAL TEAM. Otherwise it is absolute that the cricket shall die in INDIA. IS IT THAT WE LOOSE SIGHT OF THE PRIDE as a member IN THE NATIONAL TEAM? BCCI should look at this as a conflict between National Pride Vs. Money. If we keep closed eyes on this issue giving a back seat to national pride, then each failure in Cricket shall cause severe hurt for the nation.There should be money in Cricket but it should not be based on money.
It is hundred percent true that the money IPL is paying to the players, it is ruining the other form of cricket. Like Hockey, India may lose their place in the world cricket in near future!!!!!!
