ever since he was made as the bowling coach. i think he didnt teach bowlers how to put yorkers at all, thats why the bowlers were hit all over the park.
maybe now ishant sharma returns back to his form....its was always prasad who guided him to stick to line and length instead of pace....in the entire excercise the poor chap was not able to maintain either of two...

Has the BCCCI forgotten that only 11 players can be represented on the field in cricket! Were Venkatesh Prasad & Robin Singh on the field too?? How could they do such a thing of sacking them? Come on public, lets forget about the Indian team and let us lend all support to the Australian team and let them set the Diwali fireworks in India during the Indian-Australian series.

Prasad and Robin are accountable too. You got to get the players to practice hard and get the determination levels up in them. You got to inspire them and make them do well. Prasad and Robin havent done that well and they deserve the boot.
The decisions were fair and right. Our fielding standards off late as been extemely below par with simple fielding and catches being put down. Remember the match against SL how many did we put down. Having Robin as a a specialist we havent reached any great hights. Bowling coach Venky was not convincing either. Look at the runs that we conceded every match in T20 as well as in Champions trophy. If at all we won it was because of our batting and not for bolwing. We need some one like Lillee/Imran who can take bowling to next level.
It is true that the fielding and the bowling of the Indian team has significantly dropped in the recent tournaments..Its was really frustrating..Considering these..the decisions taken is fair enough..

A good cricketer does not necessarily become a good coach. There are numerous such examples available.
Its a real shocker to me they are the best in the business. Unless they want to again lick some gora and pay huge sums to them and let them warm the bench and make our players climb mountains to prove fitness. Where is the board going? Look at the improvement number of extras has fallen down to bare minimum and discipline in bowling what can venky do if bowlers cant bat. Ishanth is true product of venky and also not to mention slow balls from fast bowlers are also his product. Disappointed but sure some other country will be happy to have them.
