Robin Singh in his playing days was dropped fr. the team suddenly when he was at the peak of his form. After Solkar, I think Robin is the best fielder India has produced. Also he was gritty all-rounder. Samewise now without his fault he has been sacked fr. the post of fielding coach. Pathetic system in India.

Exactly...he was the most committed player and was also declared the fittest sportsman of Asia. He is the only Indian fielder till date who can be compared to Jhonty.

if they pulled by performance base then every bad performanceing player selected by BCCI scod against ozi's why not thye droped bhajji, Ishant and dhoni too. i am right?
Why blame Prasad & Robin?To some extent they can coach but the players fooling around with advt endorsement who can coach? simply sack Harbhajan etc high paying players & see the difference?
becos of these guys, our fast bowlers have lost pace & things have come to such a passe, prasad never deserved it in the first place, HE KILLED THE TALENTS OF ISHANT & RP BY ASKING THEM TO BOWL LINE & LENGTH, THEREBY LOSING PACE
