Now with the fear of dirty terrorism, we should hold all of our celebrations, festivals etc...in another country. This is just a start. Even we will not be safe in our home due to these coward terrorists.
Foolish. Shows the true colour of unethical business interests of the franchise owners and BCCI. People who are so keen that IPL should be conducted at any cost are not really interested in cricket but they are interested in money. But all of us by encouraging it by watching the TV and thereby increasing the popularity of the tamasha make it an inevitable and unavoidable event. Let us shun atleast once and bring down the Organizers to the ground (they always have their feet above the ground level).
1. Firstly, the Home Ministry cannot be blamed for "not allowing" the IPL in India! It had only sought the opinion of the states whose responsiility it is to have law and order and security for their opinions and very few of them seemed to agree unconditionally! Even, the DIG of Ahmedabad, where Modi promised to have a safe game did not agree! 2. Postponing the IPL was not really a viable option. Hence holding it, even in SA is probably the best decision under the circumstances. 3. With international players, international viewership and even international cheerleaders who will not be required to cover up due to the moral brigades in Mumbai and Bangalore, where is the big point in making such a big fuss about holding it in SA?

Another reason … is the assurance from top officials within the South African Government and CSA that the IPL will receive the full red carpet treatment.”

80% of world cricket's income come from india only. So after IPL-2 neither lolit modi nor BCCI will have a laughing face.
