Is IPL a national game? The ans. is NO. Its just Mukash Ambani purchased a team, which will play a team, purchased by Vijay Mallya, and out of it they will make huge profit and a big advertisement of their franchise. So, ultimately it is a business from Cricket Industry, based upon the beautiful sensation of common people's passion over the cricket. So let me know how it will assume more importance over the general election. Unfortunately our opposition party, BJP, always took the bogus issue to retain their vote bank, and it is also one of them.

Wow.......finally IPL is happeneing & that too not in India.....but in some other country....how much pride this brings to us that an Indian thought about this concept & we don't have space in India only to allow such sport to take place......we must woke up & get aginst our Indian Politians regarding such a decision.I am totally against it & as an Indian i think our Politians don't eyeview a toatl propective of things before taking a final call.Secondly, they are more concerned for their elections & money invested rather than a sport called Cricket which gives brought India so much of Pride....

INDIA lost 1000s of crores in revenue in this hard times and above all credibility...that from BBC to CNN every channel in the world is saying INDIA cannot provide security ....tomorrow they may say the same for the business?

Then congress will India economy to pre 1980s believe me...they want that.

ya, I do agree...but this time its about 'sufficient' security due to election overlap..we should understand this,in case of emergency, common people will suffer and not those who will make millions of money by sitting in galary to print new calanders or making new movies.Whole world knows south asia is not safe at the moment, regarding business ...nobody can stop india

Understand this way.Govt failed another security test.
India missed benefits by denying the glow thru IPL in the recessionary economy which wud hv bn flared by few thousand crores. Many small people wud hv also got some earning as temporary employment/contracts. Those who are seating on money wud hv brought some currencies in the system. Do not criticise IPL becasue some rich people are going to make money. When money circulate in the economy it benefits everyone be it common men or rich men.

Of course, election is of paramount importance but any event uniting the nation on one theme also encourages certain values, spirits, entertainment to rejuvenate and IPL is definitely going to enage people in some activity which is better than sitting idle during summer vacations for children who are not part of electioneering. Why can't the EC use this platform of IPL to send message to people to come out for voting and right voting? Think positive.
Also think about the adverse impact of exporting IPL to other country. The economy of SA will prosper from Indian event. The message of our incapacity to organize IPL will also send wrong signals to the World. India will be equated with unsafe country like Pakistan.

Think, If Govt could have managed both election and IPL with balance. Success of the both would have created the Super Power Image of Indian in the World.
Indians, be positive & choose your Govt which prioritise India's interest and national pride on top.
