There were good contribution from southy like Rojer binny,Srikanth,Kirmani etc also. This year T-20 wcup india lost all matches shamelesly as all players were northy. Though I don't believe in regionalism, but idiots like Briraj singh need some good answer.

That was great knock. B ut dont forget it was Kirmani who supported or else it would have ended like 50*...Its a team Game ..everyone plays as a team and then only teams wins ... When Ind was so near to win the match in which Sunny made 221 How many runs Kapil did..?? Victory was soooo near finally we had to settle on draw..Go check up how mnay runs Kapil did in it then...Mohinder was agreat all rounder but yeah Same mohinder had 5 ducks out of 6 one days right after world cup 83....LoL....The next series borad had to take him off from the team...

Why do we have to run down Mohinder. Let us remember that Gavaskar himself rated Mohinder very high. Mohinder would have played more for India if not for the selectors who were looking for every excuse to drop him. Sure he had one horrible season, but that does'nt make him any less a player.

Dhoni has no role to play in any win except lucky guy to be a captain of good players like sachin, sehwag,yuvraj, laxman, dravid etc. Dhobi can't win a single match on his own. His technique against quality bowling is not good & test match record/T-20 record as batsman is pathetic. He should be imediately replaced by Dinesh kartik as dhobi is in team just by luck,overhype by media & senseless fans like briraj & patidar.

I am also a bhaiya but accept the fact that Sachin is 1 million time more talented & better person than dhobi. I am biggest fan of sachin & feel dhobi is the most ordinary player in world criceter who is overhyped & get more attention that what he deserve. If u leave his political ability aside, he will not find place even in a good ranji side on merit. Only good for doing some adds,giving bhasan to media & doing manipulation.

It is Gordon Greenidge and not Greendige.. and he did not open the innings with Michael Holding.. HOlding has not opened for the West Indian innings.. Greenidge used to open the innings with a certain Desmond Haynes.. got it?

Lala's career finished in the early 50's and was an all rounder and middle order batsman. Wadekar played in the 60's and 70's. And Wadekar never opened for India. How did they become best openers? Check your facts before posting. Don't show such ignorance.
Both are great players. But like Dickybird said that it was a joy to watch Gavaskar walk, his trademark hat, his concentraction, his magic touch everything was better than Boycott.

Gavaskar scored 94 balls century in test cricket agianst bowler like marshal,holding, roberts etc which no present generation player can make. Player like dhobi will shit in pant if he had to face Marshal/holding/roberts/garner on bouncy pitches that also without helmet.
