YES I KNOW SACHIN SCORED 4 OFF ONLY 4 BALLS SO HE HAD A STRIKE RATE OF 100 RUNS PER 100 BALLS.what more can you expect from him?

Guess how we got to those finals? He showed it to you, that if he fails, you will be out of first round, in 2007.
In 2003, it was all Sachin, that is why we won against Pakistan etc and got to finals. He is still the highest run scorer in world cup. You need others to perform as a team to win.

guys think it for a while before responding.he has given a lot to this team.chennai test against pakistan guy took all the burden anfd fell just when we were short of 17 runs for victory.last 4 batsmen could not do that evemn.that test's anguish is still written on his face.how much can u be more patriotic.

world cup is won with team effort and not a single player.cricket is a team game and not single handed game
Sachin deserves respect for all the hard work and dedication for 20 years of his career. Its not easy to go everyday and give the best shot... Some losers in this forum are criticizing him which makes me to tell them to find a good psychiatrist. Don;t appreciate for the money, name and fame he has achieved which the losers in this forum couldn;t achieve but atleast appreciate for the hard work.

His hard work fetched him for millions of money for himself.whereas he hard work contributed any major cup for INDIA ?Not even a member of any moajor cup.Just remember this.

You should never touch the fee of your Guru , Parents and Elders of close family. Why you can see politicians touching the feet of other politicans .Here , he is aguru who mastered the art of criminalisation and looting .Probably the law does not permit other wise they can even lick the bums and we can see the same. Tendulakar is a great cricketer and is decnt human being hence he does not like people touching his feet.

Yet another overrated sportsperson!!! Why Indians always make demi-gods out of these 'not so extraordinary' people??? Can't we accept the fact that we do not have 'extraordinary' sportspersons or people for that matter in here?

why r u talking only abt sportspersons? many ppl in many fields r overrated. even rajiv gandhi was overrated and given a bharat ratna ahead of someone like sardar patel. why didn't u shout that he was a mere pilot who became pm undeservingly bcoz of his lineage? sachin is atleast getting rating bcoz of his own achievements.

after havin an average of almost 45 in onedayers and 54 in tests? after havin runs more than anyother player s in oneday and tests? after being an icon player for india all these years ?
