Yes touching his ffe and telling that he is god is deplorable, anybody with self reapect will hate it,except people like MGR,Jayalaitha,Mayawati,Indira Gandhi,Sonia Gandhi etc. You are humble and polite in spite of all the success and money. I WANT YOU PLAY AS LONG AS YOU CAN , KEEP MANY RECORDS AWAY FROM BATSMEN LIKE PONTING. EVEN IF YOU QUIT ODI KEEPPLAYING TESTS TILL YOU ARE 40,may god bless you.
He is one example all of our dirty politicians must learn from. His star celebrity status didnt make him float. He is still the same simple humble sachin that we all know for years. Hats off to the living legend, a true proud Indian, the gem of world cricket, the pride of India; Hail Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar
He has been playing for ages and has all possible records under his belt – he should now graciously retreat into the background and allow the young ones to blossom. He does yeomen service at the nets by guiding the youngsters. His wide experience with the bat and the ball and his guidance helps the newcomers. All cricketers feel that they still have more cricket left in them. Sourav Ganguli has already busied himself with the IPL and his Knight Riders. If Sachin could devote more time to guiding the upcoming breed of cricketers, he would serve the cause of cricket better. This subject would be a topic for lively debates everywhere.

Let the man play. If you love the Tendulkar cover drive, you would know it. Let him play as long as he has too. Cricket is not beautiful any longer as it now it seems to be about winning every lousy match that India plays. In the 90s when all was lost in the din of corrupt politicians and theological bigotry which damned the country and everyday life, Sachin was the beacon, Young man in his twenties taking on the Akram, Ambrose,Warne and most of all McGrath and winning. Which other man in Public Glare took on the world and won in that time. You now speak about retirement. I would rather watch a Sachin, Dravid or Laxman bat for India than the lousy two shot players that modern bats and fast outfields are yielding today.
In 19 years of being in the profession, he has played against four generations of bowlers! Now that’s no mean feat! From Richard Hadlee to Ian Botham to Imran Khan to Wasim Akram to Allan Donald to Brett Lee to our very own Ishant Sharma (in the IPL), Tendulkar’s braved all their spins and fast ones
We are still a couple of years away from winning the World Cup, let’s not get carried away. The mantra of our team is to focus on the process, the result will take care of itself
