DHONI'S BAN IS WELCOME MESSAGE TO SPORTING LOVERS. ZAHEER KHAN AND ASHISH NEHRA DELIBERATELY TRIED TO BUY TIME. BE A SPORT. INDIA WITNESSED GREAT SPORTSMEN LIKE GR VISHWANATH, CHANDRA , PRASANNA ETC. THEY NEVER PLAYED ANY NEGATIVE TACTICS INSPITE OF BEING GREAT. PRASSANNA, BEDI, CHANDRA TOOK ALL THE WICKETS IN EVERY INNINGS THEY PLAYED. THEY NEVER SCREAMED LIKE ZAHEER OR HARBHAJAN. CRICKET WAS GENTLEMEN'S GAME THOSE DAYS. TODAY ANY ONE WEARING A STRAPLESS BLOUSE CAN DISCUSS CRICKET.
This already happened with England when skipper Collingwood was banned for 4 odi's by match refree javagal srinath. this also often happens with Australian team. There was once head line that australian team is finned more money than any other team due to slow over rate durind the entire year. BUT POINT ABOUT CONCERN IS These teams still play with four pace bowlers even they are finned such a huge amount due to slow over rate. this clearly indicates necessarity of four fast bowlers in team. i still remember first t-20 worldcup when India played every match with four pacers and won all matches except one with Newzeland. I also remembered final match versus pakistan when Harbajan Singh (spinner)went for 33 runs in just 3 overs. Our pacers Irfan Pathan & Rudra took 4 wickets each they went for less than 20 runs in four overs. This time in t-20 worldcup India played with only three pacers and suffered a humilating defeat. I really do not understand even though such results are there in front of us the selectors select the team with three pacers. Espicially the sub continent teams play spinners well so it is high time to fire their batsman with high speed diliveries. There is also a fact that above 75% wickets in international cricket are taken by fast bowlers. Even though our pacers went for runs we should not forget that the bowl mostly in powerplays. India may also be having quality pace bowlers since academies like MRF pace foundation(Chennai) are there in India.

Thanks for your message, You are correct by explaining the importance of fast bowler in any cricket team, but where is the fast bowler in our team? let me bring your attention towards this fact that RP singh, Pathan and many other names which we interact as pacemen are basically not pacemen, when you talk about international teams e.g.Australia, can we produce Mcgrath, Lee, Reid, or Akram, Waqar, Shoaib. Answer is Yes! we have but due to our corrupt nation with incompetent selectors, paralyzed system and putrifying politics we could not able to bring them up to play internationally. May God save our nation with those evils. Jai Hind

Dhoni has been banned for 2 games which is tottally unbelievable. It's looks like the match referee is a total shadow of Chris Broad. Will this happen with the Aussies or English teams? Never !! They r similar to Steve Bughnor who's genuine/purposeful mistakes cost the Indian's a series win in Australia. They r only doing this to de-grade India and it's captain. They r do not want to see India on the top of the ICC rankings. It's a personal rivalry & the Aussie and English match referee's have made this a routine practise in their personal agenda to de-grade India. I think it's high time they start thinking neutral and umpires who give their reports on all the situations on-field at the end of the match, placed before the match referee makes his decision and he decides to ban the captain of the team. The funny thing in all this was that the Sri Lankan captain was not banned for his slow over-rate in both the matches. V as viewer's do watch the game totally commited which involves all aspect of the game. ICC should start reading viewer's mail's before implementing anything and sending referee's who do not have any bais against any country. Hope this mail wud be passed to the concerned authorities. I think all the commentators, BCCI President, Secretary sud have access to these mails and act accoringly and put forward viewer's in strong words to ICC to implement a code of conduct for these types of baised match referee's. Anyway, hope good minds will w

Missing "s"
Problem is that the "great grandpa" still can't make up his mind and has to call the grandpa. Good that the "great grandpa" is banned for the next two matches. :)
When I see our bowlers, i feel they have been just discharged from hospital. they look tired and lost. I think they don;t get even time to shave. I think a team of ten fast bowlers should be selected and rotated to keep them fit and ready.

Its true what you said, "discharged from Hospital" we cant blame them either Manoj, our standard height, weight body build and structure is ( /-) the same its sad but truth is always bitter, anyway its funny to hear to read what you say teamof 10 fast bowlers but something similiar can be done like change to strategy and keep them fit and ready.
