This is a blatant allegation based on pure bias. Why havent you said the same when Vengsarkar killed the careers of all senior players except another "kar", Tendulkar?
Rahul Dravid is one of the finest cricter on both of the format of cricket history. If someone just saying he is being fitted to one dayer game to get youngster settled for World Cup 2011, its like making oneself fool. Rahul Dravid must play till World Cup 2011.
The author needs to get his facts right.."Unable to keep pace with the modern game" is utter crap. One of the highest one-day run scorers in the world and you say such nonsense..Dravid had adapted wonderfully to the one-day format and was even captaining the side(why doesn't this find mention here-very conveniently overlooked eh?) There was no looking beyond him..only when he quit as captain, did he have to forgo his place in the side

The series is followed by Aust coming to India and Ganguly couldnt score against the fast bowlers of Australia scoring 127 runs in 5 matches. The sole 50 ganguly scored, india lost that match too.
The next series is final for Ganguly, with pakistan having 2 fit fast bowlers opening, Ganguly couldnt score again, scoring 89 runs in 4 matches. Eventually it was proved Ganguly couldnt open and score freely against decent fast bowlers. Out of the past 4 series, 3 were played against South Africa, Pakistan and Australia, where Ganguly played 12 matches with single 50 and averaged less than 25. After this Dhoni pressurized the selectors who sent Ganguly back from Australia after the test series.
Let people decide whether Dravid was playing selfish or it was someone else.

With all your crap series how can you justify the 11000 runs and over 30 MOM awards by this 'mean' fellow Ganguly in only 313 matches ??? Your crap degrades you not Ganguly - get a life to do better things than this!
