PROUD INDIANS ..... BE WITH INDIANS
by rkdmumbai on Aug 06, 2009 07:18 PM  | Hide replies

I feel depressed when our Indian guys are talking against world famous Indian master blaster Mr.Sachin Tendulkar.
Why are you so biased dudes ? Will you like Pointing the world record of our Indian top batsman ? Was it not the trap of Australians to send Chappel as our Coach so that he will ruin unity of Indian Cricket Team ? Will anybody be happy if someone other than Indian criticise Sachin Tendulkar ?
BE PROUD INDIANS DUDES... Do not spit on the Sun...

why should he retire ..
by deepak kotnis on Aug 06, 2009 07:16 PM  | Hide replies

why shud sachin retire. just bcoz there are more young people in this country, some of them happen to be cricketers. this point of sachin's retirement has been discussed time and again but honestly watching the game, still there has not been any youngster who is capable enough to replace sachin. if you are talking bout gambhir, sharma, yuvraj etc. then they are already playing alongside him. and goodness , if you are talking bout ravindra jadeja (who looks like visiting a dentist while facing a ball , thanx to his facial expressions) or virat kohli, ajinkya rahane, yusuf pathan etc. then I am afraid they have not done enough to shake sachins throne. when there will be a situation, where sachin is genuinely taking a deserving youngsters place away, he will quit himself. he doesnt need an opinion of the bunch of frustrated individuals who happen to be also the citizens of India and nothing more than that. thank you ..

well said deepak.
Dont forget - Suresh Raina - who is better suited for the Tests than Yuvi or Rohit Sharma but way short of Tendulkar, Dravid or Laxman!!

What I think is that Mr. Ramesh Gupta, Anshuman, & Vishwas are telling right things. Also, most important thing is that Saurav Ganguly was the first captain who played well under his own captaincy. All captains before Saurav are just came on the ground to show to other players that they are captain including Sachin Tendulkar. Saurav was the first player who though being captain made lot of captaincy innings & brought India on winning path. The constant thrust of success is the big blessing of Saurav Ganguly to Indian cricket. So, no doubt Saurav Ganguly is the alltime best player of India.

But, in conclusion, I want to tell one most important thing & that is

SAURAV GANGULY & ANIL KUMBLE ALREADY RETIRED FROM THE INTERNATIONAL CRICKET. NOW, THE OTHER OLD GUYS VIZ. SACHIN TENDULKAR, RAHUL DRAVID & VVS LAXMAN MUST HAVE TO TAKE VOLUNTARY RETIREMENT. OTHERWISE, BCCI MUST FIRE / EXPELL THESE OLD AGED GUYS FROM THE TEAM. BECAUSE, INDIA HAVE TO BUILD UP IT'S TEAM FOR WORLD CUP, 2011 FOR WHICH TEAM UNITY OF YOUNGSTERS REQUIRED & NATURALLY, ABOVE DENOTED NOT RETIRED OLD GUYS WILL NOT PLAY IN THE WORLD CUP, 2011.

SO, BETTER WAY FIRE / RETIRE / COMPULSORY VOLUNTARY RETIREMENT SCHEME SHOULD HAVE TO BE GIVEN TO THESE OLD GUYS VIZ. SACHIN TENDULKAR, RAHUL DRAVID & VVS LAXMAN. LOT OF QUALITATIVE PLAYERS MORE THAN ST ARE SITTING OUTSIDE THE INDIAN TEAM.

If there are 5 persons say that sun is rising on east & 1 person is saying on west, then mental hospital is near for 1 person. So, hurry! Book your seat today in the mental hospital.

SACHIN IS NOW AT THE CLEARCUT END OF HIS CAREER. HE MUST HAVE TO RETIRE NOW AT THIS SPOT.

VERY DIFFICULT. People will laugh.
by govinda on Aug 06, 2009 07:09 PM  | Hide replies

Tendulkar now 37 years old. Spirit of cricket says- the old man should leave for the young. The way cricket has changed recently, it seems Tendulkar is outdated. May be many young players are there, who should be given chance in place of him who can do better than him. No doubt Tendulkar has contributed the best for India and the cricket. A legent when flops in the game i.e. modern cricket, people laugh. Before the people laugh more, Tendulkar should quit.

To score more than 2200 runs in Test cricket, Tendulkar would take another 3-4 years. At the age of 40 if tendulkar playing cricket, youngmen around world would switch off the television, mobile phone, internet, radio etc.

Dont be such a girl!! He is playing cricket not going on a modelling ramp...since when did viewers care about age in sports...performance matters in sports...and his performance is still the best in the team...look at the stats if u dont believe.. I dont think sachin has flopped yet..he is still performing and he should stay till he does that

there is no doubt he is greatest batsmen ever cricket has produced.it is our misfortune that some peoples r always waiting for a chance to critisize him.even if he scores hundred people will say he is playing for records and if he gets out for duck people will say he should retire now.i dont know why r they against him .
let him play his game and be a spectator and watch his game.
i am sure whenever he will retire half of indians will stop watching cricket.

What do u mean give chance to youngsters?? Youngsters should win the place by performing better...Sachin has been performing and u cant ask him to retire because of age, look at the runs he score in the last 2 seasons, and all against top opponents...If u want him to retire...then put forward a valid reason!!!

As long As
by sati savitri on Aug 06, 2009 07:06 PM

As long as Sachin keep himself fit and fine he can play for India...infact he should play. Ocassional failures r ok for any gr8 players. Although we miss him "previous" Sachin still I find lot of fire in his batting. One can not forget his gr8 innings against Australia.

Some might criticize him for not giving chance to youngster, but he is there coz he has got caliber and apart from some prev failuers he is very much consistent. Kudos to his talent, hard work, dedication, and honesty !! He is an inspiration and motivation to youngsters.

May god give him boost to play his best for India.

statistics dont lie. you dont score the number of runs he did and as consistently as he did if you were not special. he is still doing well. if anybody has earned a right to leave on his own terms, he has. detractors are just people who not been able to achieve an ounce of what he has and just like to make some noise. just jealuos. hail to the matter.

WHen is he going to retire and give his seat to new talent????

He can get out for 10 ducks in a row but he will NEVER be dropped! Its about time he just left on a high and give his place to somoene else.

India will never progress if they keep hanging on to old players.

I fully agree with you Rizwan.

I want to know when will he retire ? He is very clever. Whenever there is tough series, he withdraws (like the one he did for West Indies Tour). I think we Indians allow him to play till he reaches 50 years. It is not surprising that he is inspired by Sunil Gavaskar who is one more Indian batsman who played only for records like Sachin. These two players killed other Indian talents. They know only to make records and winning the game was never in their mind. Sachin played 5 world cups so far, but he count't win any cup for India yet. He is the worst Captain ever. I don't know how can we call such a selfish player as the world class

Do you know why WI tour is tough one ? It is ODI tour and not tests. And in all previous matches it is proved that youngsters like (Raina, Rohit, Yousuf) were not doing well. Moreever, Sehwag is absent. So, Sachin thought entire responsbility falls on him and escaped the tour.
