Guys! Stop lamenting
by Solnishka on Aug 07, 2009 12:21 AM  | Hide replies

What is the prob brothers?
Anyone in Our Great Country who, rises to the top is always scrutinized, maligned, abused and at the end crucified (eg Mahathma Gandhiji). This Mahathma slogged all His life for Indians (united about 40 crores of us and fought out Independence for us and showed us Light and what did we do to Him?) and there is another Young lad who must have been vexed with the life with such miserable creatures around and thought it to be prudent to lay down his life than live with these creatures. The Icon is Bhagath Singh. From the lives of these two Greats I just infer that Our Land somehow wll be developing always.

And down with your socialist attitude (beggar's attitude). Why the hell does anyone has to give away his hard earnings. People ...... slog and make money. Who stopped you? Ya ....... and if you wish to spend on others then please do so! I dont want to repeat the Grasshopper's story. And this story is really true for Indians. I know I will be showered with loads of curses for this. But, truth is always bitter. But again ....... SATHYAM EVA JAYATHE!!!

An Old Story
The Ant works hard in the withering heat all summer building its house and laying up supplies for the winter.
The Grasshopper thinks the Ant is a fool and laughs & dances & plays the summer away.
Come winter, the Ant is warm and well fed. The Grasshopper has no food or shelter so he dies out in the cold.
Indian Version
The Ant works hard in the withering heat all summer building its house and laying up supplies for the winter.
The Grasshopper thinks the Ant's a fool and laughs & dances & plays the summer away.
Come winter, the shivering Grasshopper calls a press conference and demands to know why the Ant should be allowed to be warm and well fed while others are cold and starving..
NDTV, BBC, CNN show up to p rovide pictures of the shivering Grasshopper next to a video of the Ant in his comfortable home with a table filled with food.
The World is stunned by the sharp contrast. How can this be that this poor Grasshopper is allowed to suffer so?
Arundhati Roy stages a demonstration in front of the Ant's house.
Medha Patkar goes on a fast along with other Grasshoppers demanding that Grasshoppers be relocated to warmer climates during winter.
Mayawati states this as `injustice' done on Minorities.
Amnesty International and Koffi Annan criticize the Indian Government for not upholding the fundamental rights of the Grasshopper.

Grasshopper story contd

The Internet is flooded with online petitions seeking support to the Grasshopper (many promising Heaven and Everlasting Peace for prompt support as against the wrath of God for non-compliance) .
Opposition MPs stage a walkout. Left parties call for ' Bengal Bandh' in West Bengal and Kerala demanding a Judicial Enquiry.
CPM in Kerala immediately passes a law preventing Ants from working hard in the heat so as to bring about equality of poverty among Ants and Grasshoppers.
Lalu Prasad allocates one free coach to Grasshoppers on all Indian Railway Trains, aptly named as the 'Grasshopper Rath'.
Finally, the Judicial Committee drafts the ' Prevention of Terrorism Against Grasshoppers Act' [POTAGA], with effect from the beginning of the winter.
Arjun Singh makes 'Special Reservation ' for Grasshoppers in Educational Institutions & in Government Services.
The Ant is fined for failing to comply with POTAGA and having nothing left to pay his retroactive taxes, it's home is confiscated by the Government and handed over to the Grasshopper in a ceremony covered by NDTV.
Arundhati Roy calls it ' A Triumph of Justice'.
Lalu calls it 'Socialistic Justice '.
CPM calls it the ' Revolutionary Resurgence of the Downtrodden '
Koffi Annan invites the Gras shopper to address the UN General Assembly.

Contd - 3

Many years later…..
The Ant has since migrated to the US and set up a multi-billion dollar company in Silicon Valley,
100s of Grasshoppers still die of starvation despite reservation somewhere in India
AND
As a result of loosing lot of hard working Ants and feeding the grasshoppers,
India is still a developing country and will remain forever !!!!

I agree with you... Just because someone makes a lot of money doesn't mean they have to give back to the society. It is their money and they can do what they want with it. It is just that a lot of Indians have a Socialist attitude.

DRAVID NEED GOD FATHER IN BCCI

Look at Dravid's achievement of 10,823 runs in 13 years compare to Sachins 12,773 in 20 years and also equally Ponting in 14 years. If they hang on like Sachin BOTH WILL SURAPSS SACHIN. MARK MY WORDS

Some guys types some crap and flies away ... when ppl like pranav comments on some things, pls leave you phone number also. I see lot of jealosy in this crap from Pranav .... Sachin is not someone who will stay in the team even if he is not fit to play, he is a humble and great human being who does justice to whatever role he is, so dedicated and an amazing human being. Sachin stepped down from Captainship, recomended Dhoni to be the captain and even rejected the captainship when offered again and refused to be part of T20 team as he felt will affect the combination even though his fans thought otherwise.
Whatever be the records Ponting creates, he will be soon forgotten, but not Sachin. Sachin has earned the respect. He has got great talent and to add to that he great humanbeing and that makes him a legend and a role model.
Think of Ponting playing against McGrath, warne .. his career would have been over long time, why dont u ask him to win with the players now ...
Also no one stopped Ponting to start his career at the age of 16, thats not Sachins fault ...

I feel ashamed to reply to craps like you but what to do ... I have to carryon and needed a place share mine ... I dont know what to write .. I feel pity on sachin to have ppl showin no respect to him ... but what to do we can question Gods creation ....

dont ever compare dravid and ponting with sachin.. and ur crack in telling abt the no. of yrs played.. see the no. of innings played.. sachin 261, dravid 233, ponting 226.. another 30 innings for both ponting and dravid to come near and need 1600 for ponting & 2000 for dravid to surpass sachin.. which is nearly impossible.. so..we cannot mark your words buddy..

Tendulkar has played in 159 matches with 261 innings. Ponting has played 134 tests with 226 innings and Dravid has played 134 tests with 233 innings. Idiot... it is not like Sachin got to play 70 more matches because of the 7 extra years he played. Also, longevity is something that has to be considered while discussing greatness.

Only thing Sachin can be accused of in the last 2 years is the number of matches he missed due to injury. Whenever he is on the field, he is still one of the most productive players.

playing upto 2014 wc.
by vinay on Aug 06, 2009 10:24 PM  | Hide replies

15000 - 12733 = 2250 runs approx. remaining.

avg of 54 gives 2250/54 = 40 tests remaining.

avg of 8 tests per annum gives 40/8 = 5 years remaining. so sachin wants to play for 2014 or rather 2015 wc?

Do it Sachin
by rohit chauhan on Aug 06, 2009 09:49 PM

Media has really corrupted people's brains! Sachin is not standing in the way of any youngster. Youngsters have to earn their place. If Lata sings well, she does. If she turns besura, we wont hear her anymore. Just look at the last 2 years of Sachin and you will understand how great a player he has become.
