Every captains story is the same. Why wasnt theis vaunted batting dept that good in second NZ test ?. Captain makes a huge difference and also requires a good talented team.

Well, if contributions from the past are to be respected, it has to be in some other way. If past contributions have to weigh in, then bring the Gavaskars and Kapil Devs back! Ganguly would do well to shift to the Veteran's tournaments.

ganguly by raking up the captaincy issue of KKR again and agian is doing a great disservice to the team and himself--old habits die hard--even in the past during times of adversity he has gone crying to the press with the air of injured innocence. He had the backing of the commie/bong electronic media and the commie politicians-but alas how long can he fool the public. yesterday's show was as if he was hell bent on making sure they lose. maybe all what was said of hiom earlier was true after all.

Perhaps we requre people to have a bit more of cricketing knowledge in this forumm. Ganguli was the key all rounder for the team and his bowling contributed to the wins of KKR. Umar Gul is a batsman? Next this Paki will ask for Shoib Akhtar as a captain for KKR? WE had enough paki connspirators in the fold. Tiome to boot them on their butts and give the job to the most successful captai of India.

strike rate alone is not a significant statisica. It has be clubed with total runs scored. Out of 6 matches won by KKR in IPL1, dada became MoM in 3 matches. Why aren't you considering that? In any tournament, no team/match is irrevalent...you have to play and win those.

Buchhanan plan had worked.. he made hell of news and took the capteincy from dada and thrashed his confiddence and see wht is happening... dada is strugling and so is team but what abt Buchhanan? he can claim to SRK that he has exposed dada... but it is not the truth...
Robin Uthappa and Suresh Raina have a lot of attitude but, sadly, not the talent to back that up, whereas Rohit Sharma doesn't wear his talent on the sleeve as it is there for the whole world to see. It seems like Dhoni doesn't particularly like the lad from the treatment he has received thus far and it would be sad if we were to lose this hugely talented young man to the vagaries of senior-behavior. Here is a future India captain and preserve him in cotton wool!

Dude..dont go by yesterday's performance of Rohit Sharma. He is still work in progress. he needs to back it up match after match. And please dont compare with Suresh raina. Raina is in a diff league. He is wisden young cricketer of the year in 2007. He has repeatedly performed in every single ODI. When was the last time Rohit used the chance in a ODI.
dont cook up stories like this. Rohit is a talent no doubt. but, he has long way to go... He is simillar to VVS laxman in 1990's. Loads of talent, but took time to blossom. Lets wait for Rohit sharma to blossom at international level.

srk u got to pay for ur deeds, u r no match to legends like amitabh,gavaskar or even aamir and DADA u simply cant win matches or become #1 by just screaming over the roof top

u must be crazy.. SRK made money because he had sponsors to back him up. How many of these sponsors are Kolkata based? Crowd came in at every venue of IPL last year.. hence, u cannot attribute that to Ganguly. And cricketers cannot make money for owners.. only the sponsporship, tv revenue and endorsement on team kits make money

Iam not big admirer of ganguly but when it comes to a comparison between sharukh , buchhanan vs ganguly , i defntly want to back my country player who has done so much for the coutry in the PAST.. Sharukh is zero compared to ganguly and even buchhanan is match for him... They have indirectly piled pressure on him andspoiled entire teams confidence...

After the debacle with multiple captain theory, perhaps, it is time for KKR to try a new doctrine of multiple coaches !! This might yield better results..... Food for thought for Sharukh Khan.
