There are sum Ganguly's fan her shouting that KKR earned money caused dada pulled crowds. Its better not to say anything to these guys rather than present the real fact of why KKR made money and this in SRK's own words.
Here is a recent interview SRK gave in Mumbai to mid-day.com on 14th April 2009. ================================== If you were to choose between being the team that won the IPL and the team that made the most money, which would you choose? I would give my life to win. We made the most money because our players didn't play last year so we didn't pay them. We did not make the money because of the profits. Players like McCullum, Ponting, Gayle went away so we didn't pay them all the money. All that money got saved. This time we will have most of the players 80 to 90 per cent of the time. Inshallah this time we will make money too because central sponsorship is much more. ======================================== This is how KKR made money and not because of Ganguly.

Accha???? Then how do you explain Ganguly outperforming Rahul "Greatness personified" Dravid after his comeback into the Indian team after Chappell sacking??
South Africa 2007, England 2007, Home series against south Africa, Home series against Pak...everywhere Ganguly outperformed Rahul Dravid....how do you explain that??
Check out Ganguly's scores in SA against Nel and company in 2006/07 and see Dravid's...........

My Dear Friend, Dhoni has proved his batting skills so many times. Look at records. Most of the times he has led from the front. He has changed his batting style also for the team. Moreover he doesn't forget to give credit to the senior on their contribution.

Did Ganguly took us to world cup finals? 2003 World Cup
Against major oppositions where opening partnership was spoiled by Ganguly
8 v New Zealand at Paarl 9 v Aus at Centurion 19 v Eng at Durban 0 v Pak at 48 v Srilanka at Johannesburg 3 v NZ at Centurion 24 v Aus at Johannesburg
And now look Tiger against minnows
112 not out v Nam at Pietermaritzburg 107 not out v Ken at Cape Town 111 not out v Ken at Durban 24 v Zim at Harare
Not out against minnows to swell averages but mediocre batting performance. Now go and find out why we went to Finals who scored there? Keniya went to semis as England and New Zealand surrendered matches and points as protest against Zimbabwe regime for their safety. And those were supposed to be played there in Zimbabwe.
and as England and New Zealand surrendered their matches in protest against Zim regime Kenya came to semis. Ganguly is worser than rookies of 20-20 like Sharma Yusuf Uthappa and Gambhir all capable of replacing him in ODI Note : Written long back look where Gambhir is now.

You have no idea about the game! Next you would say that Gambhir's 100 was useless because it came in a drawn game. many of these games were saved because Ganguly scored the century. He is one man who always played for the team, that he nurtured as his own. I am not saying Dhoni is bad he still has a long way to go. It is a matter of taking the team to the next level. Ganguly did that. Dhoni is reaping the benefit of the seeds sown by Ganguly. But, he is doing that job very well. His test would come when the openers fail.
I can not understand on what ground BCCI is saying NO to ICL. They do not have powers to say so. BCCI is not a Government Organization, contrary to other Sports like Hockey, and Foodball, which is governed by Sports Ministry of India. First of all BCCI a non-Governmental Organization taking undue advantage of taking India's name when they play, that is completely illegal. Sports Ministry should take control of Cricket now, and sack these officials from BCCI. BCCI does not have any rights at all to take the name of India when they play against other countries. Sachin Tendulkar, and other players are saying that they are playing for India. I should put this in a straightforward manner, they are playing for BCCI. Next time you see a India Vs Pakistan or any other country, it should be BCCI Vs Pakistan or other country. In every country Cricket is goverened by Government, why not in India. This is completely riddiculous. For example, when Cricket was introduced in the Commonwealth game, BCCI, sent a second ring of players to the game, while the majority of the team was playing in Toronto against Pakistan. What do you think of then? Do they play for India or BCCI? Definitely they play for BCCI. Recently it has been seen how they dis-regarded the indian national awards, while shooting for ad-films. They do not have any respects for India. Government should ban BCCI, and take control of that.
