If Ganguli is not able to provide quick runs @ rate 150, and scores of at least 25 in a match, he is not doing justice to his place. He is not an electric feilder so he may conceed few runs feilding as well. If Ganguli does not click in next 2-3 matches, the team may rest him.

He he. In that case who should play ??? ‘Akash Chopra’ . Previous KNR team was not balanced and that is why they flopped. They have not learnt from their mistake. They are 2/3 big names at the beginning but rest are crape. So if the big shots are failed one day they are not capable of crossing even 100. A team consists of 11 payers and if you have one akash chopra, one agarkar, one murli then you are already 8. Now I am not telling that these players are bad but they are not good enough to give boost up to the team and providing a winning contribution. All other successful team as of yet has that junior bench strength to support the seniors and they are hungry to perform. KNR lack it. Unless and otherwise they get a balanced they will not be successful.

First thing they should do is throw out Ganguly.Agarkar scored 7 Akash scored 11.Ganguly will take 6 more matches to match their tally of runs in 1 match.Its better to play wid a 10 men team than to play Ganguly.
there's no such thing as pure class. if shah rukh had an iota of class, he wouldnt be going after gavaskar, and selectively singling him out - when the whole cricketing fraternity mocked shah rukh, his comments about buying a team was derogative, arrogant, reeked of his typical "drunk with money " attitude.....'
If gavasker was in his realm (which he was nt coz he could have avoided name calling) so was SRK. He is the businessman and if he feels someone is trying to bring him down he has every right to act which ever way he chooses. If gavasker cant take the heat, he should stay out of kitchen.

SRK has failed on both these accounts. He is running business like a "Lalaji's dukaan", getting involved in day to day matters of his business, scolding his employees over petty matters!
KKR's cricket fans enabled him to make profit last year, but in return, what he offered was his team's dismal performance. SRK did not merit any profit for what he provided his fans with.
this time look how the northie teams get beaten up by the southern teams.. during those period, watch the matches and enjoy. this is another northie southie battle. ahahahaha

what is there to divide... all the teams are based on regional areas only. so grouping it all as another simplied groups is nothing wrong.
REALLY DECCAN CHARGERS HAVE COME BACK TO THE FORM AND HAVE PLAYED EXCEPTIONALLY WELL THAN LAST YEAR. BUT KNIGHT RIDERS HAVE TO BO SERIUOS ABOUT THE GAMES AND SHOULD PLAY ACCORDING TO THE CONDITIONS. I THINK THAT GAYLE AND LAXMI SHUKLA SHOULD BE OPENED AS BOTH OF THEM CAN PLAY GOOD STROKES.

tough ask! its a good field though - the restrictions on number of foreigners has also changed the game. i dont think anyone will come to know until after the first round - this is a totally new start!
why does a team owner need to go over the top, other than for him being a publicity vvhore ? everyone knew 4 captains theory was hogwash. his subsequent arrogant comments were also utter bull. good to see him loose, i'd be happy to see all his theories squashed.
mallya learnt his lesson last season - this time around - he's not in the foreground with his nymphs. just let the crickters be seen. its cricket, not bollywood.

what was said was done. that was pretty cheap, inane and typically shah rukh. kkr/ ganguly needed a quiet start, not this bull of 4 captains. shah rukh vociferously defended the 4 captains theory. partly because of his nature to be a publicity vvhore.
