if there's no time for an alternate league, please ban IPL too. you've been making gobs of money there, and exercising an unfair monopoly there. too bad that no one challenges bcci's stinky monopoly.
Basically there are some Third class people like Poopa in the board who is Big supporter of Lalit Stupid Modi. Hey Poopa do u know Modi was a Drag Paddler . He was convicted in USA for this Charge. In Fact He is flying too much now a days. People like Modi is the Cancer of world Cricket.
IPL is a just money mockery and not providing quality cricket like ICL and the team owners are also spending more and more money to get a single player because he is a very professional player and they are spending more money just because he will bring goods to the team and he may help in getting profits of that particular franchise and franchise owners are treating IPL as profit venture but they are not providing quality cricket because they will bring the players like PIETERSEN SMITH DHONI etc who will bring bring profits and we also observed that Franchise owners are demanding more foreign players into the final eleven and if this goes like this there will be no scope for domestic players to give a better performance and we saw in 1st YEAR OF IPL were foreign players have dominated the entire tournament and few domestic players could put better performance.I think franchise owners should stop treating IPL as a profit venture and IPL heads should give more opportunities to domestic players like what ICL is doing now and NORMS AND CONDITIONS SHOULD ALSO BE STRICT in order to protect the spirit of game. Finally i conclude by saying IPL is just a money venture but not a quality cricket venture

Kapil is a great cricketer and a legend. But that doesnt make him a great administrator.. MOdi is a great administrator but surely that doesnt make him a great cricketer..

modi is not a great administrator. he's got everything on his side, apart from a total monopoly, which helped him crush the icl tourney.
This guy is a loud mouth and narcistic. He knows nothing but self ego. In pursuit of pulling others down he makes contradictory remarks. One statement says ICL is about making money on other side he say he had predicted in IPL teams will make money in 4 yrs. What the hell he means by this. Isnt BCCI money making body? Give life this Lalit should be called Lally........... I hate anybody monopolising anything, what was wrong when ICL started, I think ICL should be thanked by Lally as it gave him opportunity to be where ever he is. He was nothing before IPL and IPL was reaction to ICL.

Modi played for country or state or domestic? who is he to ban ICL,whts his qualification to be an IPL chairman. if he really think he is doing for some favour for indian cricket, he should resign as IPL chairman .

i think Modi's credentials if hes qualified based on if hes played cricket is useless. he is running a league. He isnt a coach or selector for which he is surely not qualified...
PRACTISES LIKE USING CHEER LEADERS,SELLING CRICKETERS THROUGH AUCTIONS ARE REALLY BAD.ICL IS BETTER IN THIS ASPECT.THOUGH IT HAS CHEER LEADERS BUT THEY WEAR MORE CLOTHES THAN IPL CHEER LEADERS AND WERE NEVER IN CONTROVERCIES.
ICL was formed with the mail purpose of Subahsh Chandra wanting to settle scores with Pawar...and not because of any inherent love for the game..he roped in Paaji who also was jobless..
The fact is ICL is losing money and losing it badly...the day is not far when Subhash Chandra will withdraw from this..Paaji will come away unscathed (as he always has including his match fixing stints) and what will then happen to the players who were promised the moon ??

i agree, shubash chandra is just trying to settle scores. the worst part is icl is playing the victim when they are nothing but theives who are feeding on ready made talent which is groomed and created by bcci and other boards...

excuse me ? what does bcci do in grooming young talent ? they have mismanaged india for so long. there should be alternative to the bcci monopoly. no one knows where all those billions go. i dont see any infrastructure development in india. the stadiums still suck, there's hardly a proper parking facility outside cricket stadiums. no new venue, despite the immense popularity. there are one too many politicians and businessmen in the bcci. why arent ex crickters allowed to run bcci ? bcci also dems they dont represent india. thats preposterous and ridiculous
