Sharad pawar n co wudnt like to share the mollah-cricket in india has to offer with icl or any others.theres more money in indian cricket today thn in agricultural ministry.
who is this guy?? he thinks he is the God of Indian Cricket! One day he is going to hit the rock bottom and will realize that all this arrogance in issuing to the world "who should play and who shouldn't" will go down the toilet!! what an arrogance!!
Lalit Modi would never like ICL to get recognisition as it wld reduce the IPL viewers...the whole conecpt of IPL is to make money.....ICL is supported by cricketers who r recognised in the cricketing world and want the unecognised to become trianed and recognized.......
Lalit Modi has started the IPL and the system is just copied as that of the ENGLISH PREMIERE LEAGUE FOOTBALL that takes place in ENGLAND where franchisee buy a place but EPL is a lotta fun to watch and doesn't involve the amount of money wasted in IPL......
I wish Sachin joins ICL after he retires or just retire now and join ICL and encourage the new breed. with he joining, people will surely follow and BCCI may be forced to recognize this. As most of you said, Vignesh is a great find and deserves a place atleast in T20 format.

sachin or any player will go to the format which has max future and money, since ipl has icc on its side (rather forcefully, the arm twisting bcci)

This BCCI people wish to become demi god for cricket. It was Subhash Chandra who could challenge them and come with a winning format much earlier than IPC. Who are they to dictate ICL?
ICC has no answer even after repeatedly raped by Modi. ICC should recognize ICL. At least Pakistan,Bangladesh and New Zealand team would become competitive after that.
For everybodies information all IPL players were autioned like goats and cows infront of billinoers who bought them for a price and making them act according to their whipping, But in ICL is it purelly on talent basis that players are joining them...in many interviews i heard many top players in ICL saying that they are earning a reasonable pay from ICL and they are enjoying every moment spent in ICL...
May be Modi is right in saying they can't accomodate these tournaments but should he be allowed to decide considering his stake in IPL? Does he has the credibility to decide on ICL? IPL is making lot of money, why should others be denied of the opportunity?

I will not completely agree with Modi. Still the end-result is good. If ICL is recognised, then there will be bunch of new leagues every year (all money-making only). It will be a big overdose of cricket and fans are going to loose interest in all forms of cricket. Anyways nobody stopped ICL. itz still in progress. So whatz the problem

I think Modi's statement not recognising ICL is quite disappointing and sounds a kind of autocratic. He should remember the concept was originated from ICL and thereafter IPL came in the picture. In fact he makes a statement not based on sports but on money power. We as a true cricket lover equally support ICL .
