Vinod was greatest batsman than sachin however due to polytics sachin reached to the high level and vinod at the same level. Sachin played for himself only

Vinod no doubt is a good cricketer, but off the ground he was involved in lot of mis-conducts, which ruined his career.

If Vinod Kambli was as good as SAchin then he should have concentrated on cricket and not on other activities. He thought he was too great and could get away with anything.

i don't know whether u r right or wrong. But vinod himself also responsible for his downfall. he used to create a lot of problems to others coming late night from night clubs etc etc.
Tendulkar has done it again. But he is kind of person who is playing for himself and compare with Lara there is no match. Also no match with Ponting, so needless to make a comment on his success. It more wonder that India should have a player who can make records with the higher winning %.

How unselfish you are Mr Incredible. Take cricket as profession. A professional first works for himself and then rest. Are you working for your sake or country? Sachin is a professional who is employed by BCCI and he is doing his role. But no one can take away anything away from Sachin's achievements. If you have some knowledge of cricket, then only comment. Out of 42 one-day hundreds of Sachin, 31 have come in winning cause and only 12 times India is defeated. This is the stats. Out of those 12, most of the time, if you see, it is only Tendulkar who has played while 10 others did nothing. In fact in 7 matches, none of them even scored a 50. Till the arrival of Saurav, Dravid and the Co, India was playing with one player and 10 jokers. There were some flash in the pan examples when either Azhar, Jadeja etc delivered goods. But no one delivered it as consistently as Tendulkar before Gangully, Dravid came in. That is why India's record in the last 10 years is much better. In Tests and One-days, Tendulkar has ably been supported by other members of Fab 5, along with Yuvraj, Dhoni etc

what a proud momemt sachin have gifted india and cricket lovers all over the world. yet lots of record to be broken while playing well for india and making india win at times. the statment given by sachin that 'you have to convert some stones into milestones' is in itself a class of real excellece and tough mental attitude to take things positively for the spirit of the game. bravo, salute you.
Sachin sure has won his day with dedication towards Indian cricket.He never said die when all critics critisised him,so he sure is a winner par excellence.He has shut up his critics by his dedication and hard work to cricket,and playing cricket on Indian grounds is really tough at times with this climate and age he has gone through.No one must have played percistent cricket like he has done for years almost two decades and that is a lot of time.
Sachin's best always came in the company of Ganguly at the other end. They were force to recon with when b0th opened Indian innings together. They both are great batsman. More harm was done by Chappel to team India as a unit. Chappel may be good player but definitly not a good coach or a manager. The harm that chappel did, was he created doubts in the mind of Indian that they cant be good player as they cant field well and rotated needlessly the bating orders. This saw the downfall in the team spirit. We will miss wacting our great icons Ganguly, Sachin, Dravid and Laxman one after another when they start giving up playing in days to come. Let media and public stop srutinising their abilities and enjoy them the game the way they want to play.
