Ganguly must be the father of your children. There is not point bringing Ganguly here and Dhoni didn't criticise Ganguly. As a captain, he has every right to criticise not performing players.

saCHIn is a selfiish M F, fuully money is the aim for him. always keeps seeing which advertisement to act and how to exxtract monies from the agencies and companies, looting money, and that is it....
He should be bannned from our beloeved countrry and thrownn to some foriegn countries immediately. i am worked as a senior person and earns more money so no body tells me that i am very jeallous. that's is not true ok.
this small mister is not even able to fetcch a after all one singel world cup...all other younger players are good enough.

another indian you can assume many names like ritwik,gaganctruelyindian,cricfan01 etc but readers will always spot you coz your quality of knowledge in all areas and writing style does not change.Contrary to what you want people to believe, I can tell you with a good amount of certainty that you do not live in the United States and in any western countries,because you need some amount of knowledge to survive here for the bread..not as easy as like india..also people there just don't pretend to write in the style you write in and show that you are dumpa out of nothing.. I have got a strong opinion that sachin is slow in his aggressive batting these days, especially in high scoring chase,he fails completely to score runs.This is serious drawback with him.

Hi Nilesh: Good to see people other than the prabhakaran gang on this Dhoni topic.. For a while I thought the only thing I could do was to put up my smileys on their "intelligent" comments, and/or try to post a couple of my thoughts on the fact that prabhakaran and swami seems to be the same person. You carry on posting your thoughts .. and I shall read them with considerable interest. Dhoni's statement looks fair. But anotherindian's doesn't. Dhoni looks ugly at the crease. In comparision, Yuvraj almost always looks good. When Dhoni gets out early, most times he looks like a sub par player. When Yuvraj gets out early, he has people sighing of what could have been. Both can change the course of a game. Like all graceful players, Yuvaraj has his weaknesses. His elegant stroke play is based on a hard grip on the bat which makes him susceptible to holing out on the slower one or rank long hops. Me - I'd put my money on Dhoni - why? Because he has a perfect technique. Ugly but it is rock solid. Absolutely. He plays every ball at the last moment without caring how ugly or good it's going to look. Stroke making is decision and he does not commit early to look good. He does not care how they come as long as its there. If anyone's played and analyzed their cricket, most people get out at the last instance because they were not cheeky enough. That's why gully type cricketers of Pakistan like Ijaz Ahmed, Salim Malik, Inzamam, Javed Miandad never looked good on the crease but unlike the silken looking and talking Indian batsmen, they won far many more games especially against India. Dhoni is the new avtar of Miandad - equally ugly but deadlier. When he hits them, fielders 10 yards from the ball in the boundaries cant stop them yet he does not hit them unless he absolutely can. Such a guy can not get out of form easily. Teams over the world over worry - MS Dhoni is here and with his cheeky play, he'll steal away your trophies.

I agree with you. His strokeplay has no class, but it wins the team matches.
The difference in Dhoni and Yuvi's batting: Dhoni looks to score at least a single on every ball and hits boundaries when there is a bad ball. On the other hand, Yuvi tends to look for boundaries all the time and occasionally settles for singles or doubles.
