NOORA KUSHTI ...... means viewers always lose
by Sharad Saxena on Jan 15, 2008 08:01 PM  | Hide replies

This is a word in URDU language which is most suitably fits for this whole drama between ICC and BCCI......

U might have seen the WWF wrestling in which an average wrestler defeats so many stronger wrestler( our Mr dara singh was world champion once...hahaha)

In those wrestling , results are pre planned and both the wrestlers and refrees are known even before the match!!! SURPRISED???....but viewers dont know about this cheat facts and they spend their HARD EARNED MONEY, VALUABLE TIME and GRT AMOUNT OF ENERGY ....

Same NOORA KUSHTI is being played between ICC and BCCI with PRE DECIDED RESULTS and the losers...of course fools like u and me, who are the real well wisher of cricket....what do u say??

BCCI is dying for money, not for the pride of India, If Bhajji is not set free then all Indians will black marked as whole in international arena.

Playing play
by Rationalist on Jan 15, 2008 12:07 PM  | Hide replies

Indian cricket board is singing & dancing to the tunes of Aussies. They are taking up wrong issues heavily & right issues lightly. After the way Sydney test was played they should have they should not have let AUssies get away with glaring errors over a dozen all on one side.Indians were raped & Aussies got away with the bliss of that withuot paying any price for that & this BCCI is holding on to non issues. This is height of stupidity exibited by BCCI. T

Symmonds, a REAL monkey.
by sd on Jan 15, 2008 10:29 AM  | Hide replies

Symmonds is not a human being. He is a REAL monkey. If Bhajji tapped Lee's back, we fail to understand how Symmonds was concerned? Obviously, he was jealous of friendship between Brett Lee and the Indian players. And that is why his behaviour is more like a weeping, jealous child. He says that he will accept remarks only from friends and not from the opponents! Again, his concept of friendship is childish. He is not behaving like an adult. He is also not aware of the Indian culture to treat the opponent players as friends. After all, 'games' are meant to be played between friends. Games are not wars. Why anybody can't explain this to him instead of making superficial medialike talks?

Symonds & Monkey
by flighteddelivery on Jan 15, 2008 10:24 AM

I think Harbhajan should ask Proctor's permission whether he can call a monkey as "Symonds" & next when he meets Symonds he should call him "Symonds".

premeditated
by raj on Jan 15, 2008 10:10 AM

all this scam and uproar is only to mask india's 4-0 series drubbing by aus...it is to get people's attention away from cricket failures.

you can already see most of the country so emotionally swayed with the harbhajan episode that they have completely forgotten even the 1st test loss, they are now supporting the cricketers no matter how they play! This is what they want so they keep making money!

The timing of this episode and also of harbhajan's hearing is just perfect..noone was ever going to withdraw from the series...

truth is out in the open..and the people of india are so easy to fool!

Missed a Trick
by rajashi ghosh on Jan 15, 2008 10:04 AM

I will not like to criticize kumble because he is a fighter. We saw how resilient he was while batting in the second innings in Sydney when some of our so called great batsmen had surrendered meekly. But i think that the Indian team missed a trick. They should have walked off right when Bucknor did not rule Symonds out when he was on 30. As far as i am concerned Bucknor did it purposely. That was a complete sham

The difference between the two sides
by sibby mathews on Jan 15, 2008 09:52 AM  | Hide replies

Unfortunately, India looks like being capable of doing anything except winning tests.

While the Australian players, media and commentators are able to still talk about strategies to completely rout the Indians in the remaining part of the series amidst all the off-field controversies and bitterness between the two teams, the Indians still are spending their time thinking and talking solely about Harbhajan and the charge against him. Unlike in the case of the Australians, we hear little or nothing from the Indians about their plans for Perth.

It looks as though they expect the Indian fans to be concerned only about the racist charge against Harbhajan and will forget about the series result.

dear sibby,
in perth indians can not win.so there is no need to plan.australians are shameless, they won sydney test with help of umpires.had ponting got out on 14 and symonds got out on 30 what their score would be in first innings and had hussy got out on 45 in second innings would they got to get 320 to defend. they are also boosting of that win shamelessly.

You are true.It seems Indians are overreacting. There seems to be no reconciliation over Sydney test where India was defeated by the umpires rather than Australia.
