I agree.
Why BCCI or Indian team or captain says something about this racial descrimination?

Anand:
That's all right mate. Ishant will be prosecuted. He should simply accept the verdict.

By the way, I was watching the match live on Channel 9. I did not see anything wrong happening on the ground. Ishant simply showed his jubiliation and his classic cupping his ears, albeit more subtly.
Nor did a single Channel 9 commentator (and they are out and out Aussie supporters - the Dhoni "glove" incident proves it) said anything about Symonds dismissal.

How on the God's good earth did the prosecution spring from is anybody's guess. :-)

However, if Ishant or anyone on his behalf now says anything, a million people in Aussie media and on this forum as well, will label us as cry babies and tell us to take our bat and ball home.
Such are the travesties of justice.

definitely you are cry babies, by the way, what ponting did was nothing that you could see. but what ishant did was deliberate and witnessed by millions. to add more this ruthless bowler was devastated by haydos, symmos, & punter.

Hey dumb:
I was one of those millions, and there was nothing wrong with what Ishant did. By the way, Symmos was slaughtered by Ishant.. in case you missed seeing his stumps being shattered.. :-)

So in your opinion, Gambhir's 2 centuries in this tri-series have gone in the dustbin..
:-)
When time comes to total up those centuries against wins, you will go .. awwwww .. poor Gambhir, he is not at all a good player. No match winner. Poor guy has to do a lot to get into the Lara, Inzy, Ganguly club.
See? He is 2 centuries down already. Even if he hits 20 more, he has somehow got to ensure that he throws away his wicket in the 90s. Score a century only when the victory is in clear sight.
That way he will be able to equal Ganguly's 20 off 22 record.. :-)
Just joking and pulling your leg, mate.. don't take it personally.. You seem to get too worked up after reading my responses.. :-)

Make the income of these players performance based. Have points calculated for each run, each four, six, fielding, stumping, run out caused, run saved...Pay them based on the points. This system will definitely make them perform because, we know all our players would want to earn more....

Good points Mr. On. It really creates some interesting possiblities:

How much will a fielder get if he runs 20 yards more than the others at the boundary?
Will there be a special allowance for trying to catch an apparent six at great personal risk?
What if a batsman needs a runner? Will the money get split 50-50, or 60-40 for the batsman, or 20-80 against the batsman?
What if the bowler bowls a blinder, but the slip fielder drops the catch? Will the bowler's money also go down the drain?
Will genuine cricketing shots fetch more than cross batted swipes?
Will there be a weighting on the runs scored during the opening overs (coz ball is swinging..) (or negative weighting coz its easier to score initially, no pressure) or in the final overs (coz its difficult to score with the field spread) (or negative coz its easier to hit through the line and the fielders are exhausted)..

Yes.. I see great interesting possibilities in your scheme. When are you proposing it to the board?

(1)Send Sachin down the order.
(2)Bring Uthappa one down
(3)Make Gambhir open with Sehwag(Last Chance for this man)
(4)Dhoni should play like Dhoni.
(5)Drop Sreesanth and bring in RPSingh somehow

RE:Ishant and monkey

Symonds has zero credibility after his repeated classless behavior. Speaks a lot about his upbringing.Wonder if the Harbhajan controversy was not stage managed. One might not have thought on these lines before, but now this repeated nonsense from Symonds makes one wonder. What business has he to argue with the bowler when he is clean bowled anyway? Well, since it's the Australian Darryl Harper (of shoulder before wicket infamy) umpiring at one end, you can expect biased reporting. If Harbhajan can be fined for using abusive language, surely Symonds can also be charged for the same thing. How did Darryl Harper and Jeff Crowe turn selectively blind and deaf to his thuggish behavior? Shouldn't the Indian team question this nonsense instead of meekly paying up the fine. How much longer do these convicts go scot free with their cheap behavior in the name of "mental disintegration" or whatever the hell they prefer to disguise it as ? Maybe cricket fans from India should gift a pair of hearing aids and glasses to Jeff Crowe to cure his selective bad eyesight and deafness when it comes to the Australian players.

RE:Ishant and monkey

Yeah.
Gilly was not out. But unfortunately the people who are supposed to mind the rules, didn't even pay attention.
What was interesting was that, then came some self-righeous and self-appointed well-wishers of the game. Ian Healy, Mark Nicholas, Richie Benaud etc. (in short the Channel 9 team)..
Their sole job is to find loopholes in any opposition success. They deliberate and debate it for hours and overs after the said cause.
And then point it out to the respective gents so that they can then "uphold" justice.
Pity Dhoni simply changed the gloves when reminded, and didn't blow smoke through his nostrils a la "don't question my integrity" style you-know-who.. :-)

Probably anyone with reasonably good eyesight can conclude that Gilly was out caught. As long as the catch was clean, Gilly is out. The gloves issue is irrelevant here, possibly a separate issue. If you're talking about the catch, then yes he was out as it was cleanly taken, unlike Symonds grounded catch against Sri Lanka or the catches taken by Ponting and Clarke in the Sydney test.

@ True Blue. A good reply mate.
However, even conceding the gloves issue, the umpires decision is final, and till the Channel 9 umpires woke up to the fact, Gilly was long gone in the pavilion.

Well said, but sorry to say,we don't have a better captain other than Dhoni in our present team,so please support dhoni despite his egoist whims. But his batting is good to match with captain innings in his limited capacity. Our good captain Dravid was kicked out by this guy.Interestingly, ahead of Yuvraj,Dravid supported this guy's elevation to Vice-captaincy but eventually backbitten. So give support, no other way.He is trying to become another Ganguly.

Old cricket ghosts are roaming around Indian selectors and players, that what happened to Badrinath and what is going to happend with raina and tiwary?Dhoni doesn't want to see that Raina & Tiwary is playing in the team.If he got something in his head,he should give a chance to Raina ahead of Sehwag and Tiwary ahead of Sharma,as Sehwag & Sharma need some rest before the finals.
