We all know that SOURAV is the best choice at the post of captain and dhoni is the best choice for vice captain. But we all know that BCCI will not take the best decision for the country but in the favour of themselves and its Ltd. Co.

my best advice will be 1) Captain - Aamir Khan captain - remember how he saved us from 3 lagaaan ... 2) Captain Mandira Bedi - How she excelled in 2003 world cup, tell me who wouldnt listen to her.
Mantra for a long and enduring success. VVS as Test Captain and Dhoni as ODI & T20 Captain. Also the Board shud show some courage and play the young turks whoever is selected. I pity the likes of Rohit Sharma who are made tourists. How else can these players get intl. exp and perform when the real time comes. Time we actually take the rotation policy seriously and it shud ideally begin with Aus. series. Initially there might be some problem but that is how talent is groomed. Even if v lose we can take comfort from the fact we atleast tried young blood. Not that the presence of seniors might produce positive results.
Yuvraj has a cool head on his shoulders. Time and again he prooved that he could handle pressure situations.He is agressive which is most important aspect of being a leader. yuvraj has more exposure to international cricket then any of the youngsters. He never had to face any disciplinary action because of his attitude. He gets along with all the youngsters back from under 19 world cup. He get along with all the seniors. He has 7-8 years of international experience. He is matured and he is still young. So i just wonder why people say that he can't be captain because of his attitude?
Giving captaincy to Sachin/Ganguly will be bringing back all the dirty politics involved. Let them play as batsman and enjoy their seniority giving support to new captain-just like Jayasurya. Laxman is the right choice as test captain at the time. He is senior and have some more years left. He is the one who performed against quality opposition and under pressure. Selectors have played with his confidence by keeping himin and out of the team. Now it is time for them to give him what he deserves.
Similarly we need a captain for one day and T20 who is not indulged in any form of politics. Yuvraj has come out in public with hue and cry during the chappel issue. What we need is someone like Dhoni who is good in the short form of cricket. It must be made clear to the seniors that they will get respect for their seniority, but they are playing under the captain to whom they have to listen and obey. give full support to captain and through out any player who does'nt perform/who try to to super captain. But who is interested? Only god knows what the Colonel and his fools/jokers are going to decide.

Laxman is the worst choice of the century, he is burden on the team India. Please take a note of his performance, feilding. Lets not make a blunder by appointing him the captain. Making him a captian means making him a parmanent place for him. Lets give chance to other players like Kaif who needs some more chances, good feilder and cool headed person and can take pressure.

Laxman is pessimistic person. He is always confused. No one can even dream of Laxman playing in ODI. He is not fit to be included in Tests also. Hence BIG BIG No for Laxamn as Captain. Only Option is Sachin - till 2011 World Cup.

Tendulkar is just a good player, not a good captain. He's had his chances and didn't do anything exceptional. Laxman must get his due as he is still a dependable batsman in tests. After Dravid, he's the best bat in the team. As for Ganguly, he was a great captain; today he's a player who's come back with confidence and self-belief. There's no point in weakening his resolution as a player and think that he's going to be a good captain. Laxman is the way to go and Karthik should be made his deputy. In the ODI & Twenty20 format, let Dhoni be the captain and Yuvraj be his deputy.
NOW board is in the hands of Mumbai people,whenever they got chance ,they spoiled the cricket as a example we lost 1987W/cup due these people only.now they want Sachin to make captain for that they are making this drama.
It is evident that Sachin will be the captain for India in both forms of the game. When you have a Mumbai Lobby so strong around....it is but obvious that he would be the one. The selectors n Pawar are doing this drama that they will announce the name of the captain today while they would have decided it the moment Dravid put down his papers. Sachin as a batsmen deserves all the respect in the world but as a Captain.....well i need not tell figures are talking....

It is a truth, but I don't think sachin is going to do captaincy in one day cricket at least against australia, because be are going loss this series very badly
