The problem with Indian cricket is that it is run by politicians who are good for nothing people. They control the selectors and the captain to a large extent and this mentality rubs off on the others.
I mean, Dilip Vengsarkar comes out in the public questioning Dravid's decision not to bat at No.3. This guy is the chief selector, can't he have a word with Rahul instead of coming out in the public. This is the sort of dirty politics that worked against Sachin as well when he was the captain.
First get rid of these politicans and then things will take care of themseleves. Till then, it does not matter who the captain is.
Colonel and his bunch of Wise men are just dumb jokers they made a joke of themselves selecting a coach and now they will be jokers again selecting a new captain
Good sensible article - Dhoni as a captain in ODIs and Laxman/Saurav or Kumble for Tests would be the best for Indian Cricket - but the sad state is that its Mr. Sachin with lots of dirty politics who is going to lead the team and hope that they dont sink any more lower with matches against Aus and Pak - Nothing can be done by us other than fighting here with all north/south divide brought in - religions brought in - the irony is that the decision is already made - SIGHHHH
