Parthiv is good batsman and a better wicketkeeper than karthik.Take him if dhoni is really unfit. He should be in. Leving Yuvraj despite his performances will be very much like India where merit is last and always last. what did VVS do last time to deserve this reward. He sucks- can't bat, can't field , can't run & can't field. Chose a team thatcan win unless it is all fixed.

You are not in touch with test matches I guess. Just see India's last 3 to 5 test matches you will understand what VVS has done.

dhoni should be der...no question abt that.....bu if yuvraj sits out again...this is extremely ..well....this is simmply MADNESS.... wt da fish more should he do to earn his place in the test squad dammit?....hez played so well against pak and now they drop him....how much more does he have to do to get into the test squad.....seriously.... i like kumble....but this is bad jumbo..real bad!

yes. parthiv is a much better option. he has scored more than 1100 runs in this year (max. by a player) against all the opponents (including quality rivals like SA-A and in irani trophy against ranji champion) and also on overseas bouncy pitches.
I hope thay play Tests as they should be,with 2 good openers who would wear the opposition down. They should be followed by 3 middle oreder batsmen (which we have in plenty). The team should have 3 spinners and 2 fast bowlers against pakistan ,and vice versa against Aussies. If 6 extremely talentd batsmen(including the 2 wicket keeper batsmen we have) cant put up a decent score against a team,we deserve to stop playing this game We have always tried to accomodate more batsmen ,and had never paid any attention to bowling teams out.
I say ,play with 6 batsmen,and go with 5 bowlers.
WE try so hard to accomodate Laxman,Ganguly and Yuvraj.Just get one person to score a decent score! After all ,taking 20 wickets is the key. The scores put up by opposition teams will come down if knock off some batsmen early. This attitude of goin with 4bowlers shows our lack of faith in both bowlers and batsmen. The fundamentals of playing should not be forgotten.
its not important whether india plays to their strength of spinners on dead turners or not. issue is different. ok v play on spinner friendly pitches here. but wud u take performances of players on such pitches as a yardstick for selecting the team to ausi. the problem is much serius bcoz selectors r going to select the team for ausi on performances of players in the dead turners of ind pitches. if v dont want to lose in ind, then better select team for ind and ausi on different criterias. ie select sub-continent players for ind matches and select genuine batsman for ausi matches.
Don't waste your time and energy after cricket.Because of you fools these cricketers become rich and you remain poor. Let us talk about cricket related global warming .Playing cricket on north pole once all the ice is melted in next 10 years, will it be possible?

u cud contribute to the cause by stopping the use of ur computer....reduces global warming u knw....... playin cricket on the north pole once the ice has melted...hope so man.i do wish to go to the north pole but its a little expensive at the moment....will b cheaper once the ice melt...cool idea

Do you have sense to say wt you r talking? Nobody can touhc this middle order that is for a crucial series like Pak, Aus. If yuvraj has to get the place, that he should have got 2 years back. Selectors didnt take that bold step. Atleast they should have tried yuvi when ganguly was out of the team. they didnt tried him.
this is not the right time to induct yuvi and say he failed.
What is the point in having Karthik and Dhoni both in the team? Is Dhoni a better Test batsman than Yuvraj? If Karthik plays, he should keep the wickets.

Dhoni & Karthik both are in the team because of Munaf Patel. He is so fast that they need two wicket-keepers. Karthik will keep wicket 25 meters behind Dhoni in case he mises the ball. Got it?

yes. it is better choice. ppl r talking of dropping ganguly, laxman etc. for yuv. its better to drop dhoni when karthik is there for yuv. logically its the best option available. now dont say that he is the future capt of ind. if thats the case then y different yardstick for yuv. even he is a future of ind ckt.

What Mr Abbas Kudrati has said is absolutely correct but Mr. Premraja & our superhero should first concentrate on their spelling (esp since its public)and its becoz of ppl like them that we differentiate among ourselves (on the basis of region and all).Shame on these ppl!!

Can you explain the reasons? may be because he was one of the top Indian batsmen in the last couple of test series against quality test oppositions like South Africa & England...
