Actually speaks volumes of your ignorance.

Uthappa has a strike rate of 111.

Heat I thought u are not idli...but this comment gives you away...

I am not surprised by ur comments: if u eat rotten things, what else can we expect?....lol
BTW, Utthappa for 2007 is not good at all...he scored 1 run in10 balls last night...

lol...

No it doesn't give anything away. It simply refers to the fact that you're ignorant. He's played 22 games in 2007 not 1. He won us a few games in 2007 so shut up man. I'm not biased like you are. When there's talent to be recognize you recognize it. There's no reason for you to undermine him.

Also, do you know that Uthappa has a career srike rate of 104? He's played 25 games in all, and 22 in 2007. If he had a strike rate of 66 like you said before then he wouldn't have a career strike rate of over a 100 so yeas i'm happy to say I have my stuff right and am not ignorant like you:).

check it friend...what I said is last night he scored 1 in 10 balls...strike rate of 10%.

He is flashy in a few innings alright but mostly he has failed.

He doesnt have a career rate of 104....stop bulshitting...although he comes in slog overs and is needed to score fast.

What is not good about him is string of his very poor scores (scores one 40 in 5 innings.

So shut up and present the correct figure.

Also pls remeber the context we are talking off...repalcing Gaguly with Utthappa...lol...he is still milessssssssss away....you can see from the scores

First of, you're comparing a guy who's played over 300 games to a guy who's just played 25 games. I never mentioned replacing Uthappa with Ganguly. Gambhit has done pretty well and is on the verge of replacing Ganguly. I'm simply mentioning facts. Uthappa does have a career strike rate of 104 and I'm not bullshitting :).

Replacements dont seem to be good enough
by Reza Arif on Nov 19, 2007 10:42 AM  | Hide replies

As suspected, Uthappa & Gambhir do not look good enough for ODI's but they may be a good bet for T20 as Sachin is not playing! Even Sehwag looks very rusty and not good enough. Rohit Sharma looks a decent bet along with Praveen Kumar (he needs to be perfect with his line and length, otherwise, at his pace, it will cost him dearly). Sreesanth surprisingly performed decently!!

However, I would love it if Sachin played a few T20 matches for India .. I guess he would definitely be playing for IPL and hence why shouldnt he play for India if he is one of the best in the business?

Dravid should definitely be recalled for OneDayers and Sachin persisted with for at least a year or two.

There was a lot of hue and cry about the young brigade .. but most of them .. dont seem to be going through! We need to look at more youngsters .. but not at the cost of Seniors!

If youngsters like Uthappa r given chances again n again, n again n again they keep failing, the brand name YOUNGSTERS would still remain unanswered par below performances. We need Suresh Raina back please!!!

Even the Aussies admire Uthappa you dumbo!
Raina was given many chances like that over rated Sehwag and flopped miserably.
I like Raina but Uthappa is much better.
NO OTHER Indian batsman has ever danced down the pitch to genuine Fast bowlers like Shoiab / Lee.Uthappa is TOO MUCH!!!!

Idlis now talk of running between the wickets and fielding
by Mature Stud on Nov 19, 2007 10:35 AM  | Hide replies

No these idlis talk of running and fielding...

Utthapaa is a great fielder? or Gambhir is a great felder?

Gambhir runs well when there is no pressure...for him...ganguly will come and ease it off...Gambhir will play. If ganguly cannot ease it off, look at his strike rate (last two matches...lol).

Utthappa...his fielding is pathetic....even gambhir is nothing great...

start talking tangible things friends...not stupid abstract fads...

Wow!! 5 off 5 balls. That was quite something wasn't it. He did quite a lot to ease pressure off Gambhir. Uthappa is a class act in the field and so is Gambhir. Even the most ardent fan of Ganguly wouldn't support his fielding standars. There are a few things you appreciate like say his stroke play. Ganguly's a real good timer and his drives are a treat to watch but it's high time he's rotated with other players. He still has a lot to contribute but that doesn't mean his place in the team is for granted. If Dravid can be dropped, Ganguly should be dropped too. Fair treatment for all. No one is above the game, maybe Sachin :P.
