BCCI should be handed over to Lalu Prasad so that Rabri Devi can select her kichen criket team. Power & team are waste. Lalu is progressive. Let him innovate some new parameter for revolusionery selection policy.

In the last Test series against England in difficult conditions, Only 3 Batsmen had averages over 50. They were VVS Laxman, Dhoni and Kumble(Surprise!!) The over exposed and over hyped Tendulkar had an average of 38.00 only. Dinesh Karthik scored the most runs (263 total in the series) Our junta with such short memory wants to keep Karthik and Dhoni out of the Test team.Also some papers are saying Yuvraj could come into the Team at Laxman's expense. Laxman has possibly been our best Test Player in the last 5 years. Also, everyone is attcking Sreesant but they forget that Sreesanth won us a famous Test match against South Africa IN South Africa (The first EVER in that Country)Also, Sree and Munaf won us the Test Series against the West Indies as well. Attacking and brave cricketers like Dhoni, Kaarthik, Uthappa, Sreesant and Yuvraj will take India to another level where we could challenge top teams like Aus / SA even in their own country. All our vicious and frustrated junta, please check the records before speaking and putting down our players.If not, just SHUT UP!

Look I am not a Sachin fanatic but that average you just stated was servely hampered by a whole host of awful decisions and have decisions that if they went his way could have been another scenario. Plus credit where it was due Karthik did bat out of skin to blunt the new ball attack!
Where the sellectors have failed is to bring in the new blood, think it is time especially at home for the likes of BAdrinath, Raina and Tewari to have go!! Another I feel sorry for is Patel the chap has been scoring well of late for India A would an ideal replacement for Karthik if he does not deliver this series.

Patels keeping is pathetic. If he misses one catch of youniskhan/shoaib malik/ponting/gilchrist, thats the end of the series for india.
If he wants to compete as a batsman, its really hard to crack into the team.

coz with dinesh kartik a certainity in the playing 11 as an opener we already hv a specialist wk. we cant accomodate both yuvi n dhoni.we can do away with dhoni as yuvi is surely a better choice as a batsman.

I too think Dhoni shouldn't be the first choice for the starting 11 in tests. Don't go by his odi and t20 records but it has been proven time and again that his ordinary technique is usually exposed in test matches playing against top class bowlers and in difficult batting conditions. Plus his wicketkeeping isn't great either. Dinesh karthik has proved in tests that he has a much better batting technique and I do think can do better than dhoni in the wkeeping separtment as well. So with Karthik a certaintly, there is really no place for Dhoni in the test side, but am sure with his popularity with selectors and men who matter, he will surely be playing no matter if he derves or not. 1 more thing, everyone has been prsising dhoni for his captaincy and friendliness with other team members but let me point out he has not at all be very positive with Dinesh karthik since he was made captain. Everyone can see how he opted for A debutant in T20 world cup final instead of the experienced karthik, I was shocked how can one field a debutant in a world cup final, everyone forget that since we won but do remember a world cup final is always more a game of nerve than skill and a debutant surely lacks nerve in such situations. It seemed Dhoni was hell bent on avoiding havibng Karthik in the playing 11. This has dented Karthik's confidence and of late he has lost his touch as he is under pressure now being in and out of the 11 pretty frequently. Its evident Dhoni is not very comfortabl

Karthik had lost touch well before he was dropped for T20 final. Look at the England series as well as initial T20 games. He needed to be dropped to regain his form.
Everyone aspires to become captain of India but our great sachin refused the captaincy so easily. He might have his reasons for that but u cant give excuses when it comes to the country. Instead of leading India he put all the burden on a young player like Dhoni. Whats the use of seniors if they cannot take responsibility. Is he in the team only to make records and sign contracts?

Sachin has proved thatbhe is not MAN as Imran said long back.. he cannot win matches , staying till the end............ Shame that he has refused captaincy.shame that dravid wants to play after refusing the cpataincy. can a king ever become an ordinary general in the army again? will he ever find peace with himself and the team? no army will respect such a king.. in Aussie cricket, once u become a captain, the only way next is out. thats how they respect their institution.. sachin, saurav, dravid now should go out, if they do not want captaincy.. hoe cheap , that they want young guy to lead in tests for the future( sic) when they cannot take it on. shameless a**holes.....

For your information, Dinesh Karthik had the highest Batting average in the last Test series against England. Better than Tendulkar, Ganguly, Dravid and Laxman. Is nt that enough, my friend? We won the only Test match in England because Karthik and Jaffer put on 140 for the first wicket. Feel sad that in our country, public memory is VERY SHORT.

The main problem is our players are playing Tests, ODIs and now 20-20.Whats happening is that a good Test player like Karthik tries hitting out in ODIs or 20-20, loses form is thrown out and then this might effect his good form in the Tests also. I strongly feel we should have specialists for each format. For eg. guys like Yuvi, Uthappa, Dhoni, RP etc should be certainities for 20-20 and ODIs. Guys like Kaarthik, Jaffer, Laxman, Ganguly, Tendul, Dravid, Sree, Kumble and Zaheer should be there for Tests. This way we have fresh legs for each format and they do not mix up their games. End result : India plays well in all 3 formats.

Dont compare ODI form to Longer version.. he just hit match saving 50 in last day against Maharastra last week. More over he is erliable Wkeeper and Fielder.. which u can not say abt partiv. who dropped lollipops with the gloves in the austrlian series last time

please raise u r voice to throw out dilip vengy because he is playing politics to make bench of people who can listen him, noe dravid have not listne his suggestion so he dropped dravid by giving reason that he is not in form but that time he include sehwag by saying that his records is better with pakistan, so i dont know about record but i thinh aet any day dravid is much better than these sehwag, dhoni, gambhir uttapa, ganguly etc.
