Dropping Irfan pathan is shocking one. They should declare 15member squad and include pathan.he is a must in both tests and one day internationals. He is the best all rounder india got and India is wasting him.Now staying out of the team it will be difficult for him to perform well.

I think it will be better to drop Ganguly and include yuvi.Ganguly is not a player to play long innings in tests. He cannot convert 30's into 100's which we desparately need in tests cricket.

Mr. Sunil it is obvious that people do support their stars, but after reading your blog, you said that ganguly cant play long innings. do you think then that yuvi, who of course is a great player, going by past records is capable to play long innings. Dont forget in England Ganguly performed really well - what a shame, people have very short memories
against pakistan irfan would have been a great asset. remember his hatric. he can bat as well down the ordrer or as a nightwatchman. i think he will get a regular place in the coming years. also teh selctros might have considered his age just 22.

yes thats rt dropping Ip is a bad prospectf or the Indians ? he should have been atlest be in the 11TH man .
The team announced was well balanced, but any failure from the present test squad should not be given repeated chances, the selectors should not forget to induct the youngesters like Suresh Raina,Robin Uthappa,Rohit Sharma, Badrinath. The selectors should groom the youngesters in both the squads and anlyse there perofrmens to build a best Indian Team both one day & test team. They should start doing the exercise now itself by taking few risks boldly. This is my opinion.

absolutely right...they should include young players also...the present sele ctionn committe...is against young players....Instead of encouraging youth they discourage young players....
