I think yubi should get a chance to bat in the middle order as he is the in form batter now. As the opening pair is a cause of corcern for india of late yubi would give flexibility to the batting order plus his fielding.
i guess this is the expected squad of 14.. and if it had been 15.. it should have been irfan.
and if irfan had been picked.. he gives an option of an allrounder.. can play one batsman short .. he can be the third seamer. But now its going to be deservingly, laxman in the team. Bad luck yuvraj
THis guy performed well @ England. Took a 5 wicket hault in a county match. He is guy with a recored of not bowling a songle no ball. He DESERVES to be given a chance. WHt say

There will be no place for SHEWAG and PATHAN.It is a poor selection...........Still we will win, bcos, pakistan batting line is very very poor......they have 20 odd opening combination in the last 20 odd tests,but our team selectio n also very poor
What is the fun in keeping 3rd spinner on the cost of Pathan? In any case 3 spinners are not going to play, under such a situation options in pace attack is very much required. Sreesanth is of no use, Pathan is good option because he can bat well too in lower order.
So called selectors have u gone crazy. Irfan Phatan should have been in the team. Has country forgotten his hat trick againt same team last time. OR selectors want him to rest and play Ranji as they asked Rahul Dravid and scored 214. Do they want Phatan to take 20 wickets and prove his form. Whats Venkatapathy Raju doing as selector????? I THINK AN EXPERIENCED AND MOST SUCCESSFUL TEST CAPTAIN SHOULD HAVE GOT A CHANCE FOR A SERIES SO THAT BEFORE AUSTRALIA TOUR WE CAN GET A WHOLETIME CAPTAIN FOR THE TEST SQUAD HAVING IDEA OF AUSTRALIAN WICKETS.
