In India 3 big players are having experience of more then 1000 matches, and together they made more then 30,000 runs. so need of coach. ask them to train the team.

Forget about the fact Dada is a Bengali, If you follow cricket even you will slap him.Come out of that regional feeling mate, we are Indians.Dada is not criticized because he is a Bengali.he was criticized of his performances and off screen politics

Its not underestimating Dada,He is one of the best cricketers but that was past, You cant spend ur present days showcasing your past.Sourav is not playing well at the moment, He is aging and doesent deserve a place.he should make way for Manoj Tiwari atleast to keep all you Bengalis happy
make sunil gavaskar as batting coach, and kapil dev as bowling coach, Azhruddin as fielding coach. and make then responsible. If all 3 dept. perform india. india will win.

FYI, Gavaskar and Kapil already worked for Indian team as a coach and have been awfully unsuccesful.Both are very good in criticising others.

what mate? check your statistics, He is the captain of team for many years, and worked as coach for some time when Sachin is the captain of the team.

Azhruddin is the best indian coach . he succeid as a captain he's best feilder in the world any many people talking about ricky poing . but ricky was lerned from steav waugh .
in Azhruddin Period Period sachin was the deputy but he did not learn any thing from Azhruddin

sastri's performance during 1992 world cup is good example for it. i remember he scored 10 runs of 60 balls as opener. during that time Guys like great batch where almost scoring more than 100% strike rate.
Coaches (Indian or foreign) can help refine a team's on field technique, it's batting & bowling consistency etc. That's not the problem with the Indian cricket team, especially the seniors.
The main problem with the Indian camp was/ is discipline. I was hoping that BCCI requested Udai Hussien to take charge of the team- oh but alas, he's dead.
Seriously, you need a military colonel or a hardcore drill sargent to drill discipline into & drain out complacency, indifference & obidience- out of our senior camp.
Maybe we should send our players to train in North Korea? lol...

i think our players are not mentally strong.. when they loose two consecutive wickets then another 2 they will give up in fear!! they nead to come out of it. if he can do this then what more watmore can do better than indian coach will get answered?

Boss, thats exactly what Greg Chappell did, he conducted things like a military camp, and what did the seniors do, they threw Greg out of the team. It won't work with these guys.
Why pay Dav more money to be the coach?. I can be the Indian team coach for half the wages. You know why even If I coach the team or Dav coach the team there will be no difference. Dav is already rich let me make some money too. After its a money of poor cricket viewers.

Pranesh, I agree that Bermuda won't perform like the Aussies, but atleast we can assure that they will have the process in place for Bermuda to perform 4-5 years down the line.

Dav only has two arms while there are 6 stars....so this is a total mismatch....while he swings two arms, there will be 12 arms throwing punches at him...and all 12 are 'starry' arms...so Dav will fall!!
