It seems that mumbai and kolkata people got in to some kind of alliance. supporting each other. they know that unity is the best. ek se bhale do. otherwise both will be out of team. but both are good.

what kind of 'alliance' is that??!! no alliance, just the fact that both the 'dead wood' are from opposite ends of the country...mumbai and kolkata

Every body thought the same when Gavaskar retired...Oldwater should make way for fresh water otherwise it will result in only stinking stagnation. The youngsters may take some time but will surely deliver the goods, the passion in Sachin and sourav is lost as they got nothing to prove now, They must feel shame that to be a part of many loosing world cup teams.I feel sorry for saching that such a talented batsman played 5 world cups and never able to win it

Whatmore for the job of coach
by Alok Pande on Jun 04, 2007 04:03 PM  | Hide replies

I fail to understand why the BCCI board selected Greg Chappell for the job when Dav Whatmore and Tom Moody had sent in their applications. Either of them should have been selected. Both of them have shown their true worth.

Its mainly because of his effective power point presentations and Backup of Sourav ganguly. The decision makers at that time have fallen for these cheap tricks instead of results.A fact that Greg never give coaching to any international side was conviniently forgotten. What a pity.Ganguly is the one who is more responsible for that

Sachin vs Hogg
by Ravikumar on Jun 04, 2007 04:01 PM  | Hide replies

If at the end of the day there is a arguement between Sachin who has scored more centuries in ODI's and Tests and of more world records than any player and Hogg who was ordinary bowler who was member of three time world cup team definately its Hogg can be proud
