what business does mr dev have to talk about the next coach,is he in the race? the players must be comfortable with the coach and it should be their choice.if they think whatmore is the right person then he should get the job.and stop whining kapil,your days are over

The senior like KAPIL DEV is rediculous,why the BCCI officials are asking his perception he dont know how to suggest the situation and before that he dont how to open an mouth... juz he wants to be a hero for that only he is creating unneccessary issues to be on headlines of the newss...
If Indian is made a coach then regionalism will come in to the team.If a Indian coach wants a player from a particular zone then he would pick that player at the behest of a good player. Senior players know how difficult it was for them to come in to the Indian team because of Indian coaches who supported players from their state.
Cat is out of the bag..i think we should ignore this fellow,he is purposfullly creating lot of contravarsies,he is eying on coaching job..so all this talk..jellous is the other name of kapil..

lets see, does kapil dev want the job? i dont remember him making a good impression when he was the coach. as far as ganguly is concerned, i think he would be trying for the national selector position, instead of a coach. Sachin, probably an umpire. dravid, probably anything he wants to do, kumble, same as dravid. and frankly, i think dravid and kumble would be picked up by other teams as their coach.

completing your excellent prophecy - Dravid would be picked up by group who wants to learn back stabbing and Kumble by group of Magicians who wants to learn how inspite of turning the ball to max it always went straight instead of taking a spin.

Jab se Zee ke ICL ko join kiya hai Kapil dev ne sirf cricketers ki complain ki hai.Antional cricket academy ke chakkar kam aur golf course aur hotel ke chakkar zyaada..
Indian players won't listen to anyone advice and so all the coach's so far haven't succeeded. Why to pay more to foreign coach and loose all the games. it is better to pay less to Indian coach and win couple of games.

This tetramer of "old warriors" hardly have any more years left esp. Mr.Kumble but they would not refrain from these kind of "nefarious" activities..Stop this you idiots...Do not corrupt the youngsters.. Lastly, why not make Laxman the coach? He is hardly selcted these days for tests or ODIs..He is not only a soft guy (read his relatioship with these tetrameric bigwigs of the indian team who expect to dictate terms) and a talented cricketer (still has 2-3 years as a batsman) he can also fill in as a batsmen at times needed..Why waste money on a foreigner when you have a great choice in your camp.. BCCI, think about this...I am sure the seniors in the team will welcome this..

I agree that his 175 helped us to reach finals in 1983.But does he remember that his reverse sweep cost us semi final in 1987. It's just that he is getting media attention.That's all...

Hi Abhinav First of all when you do not know the things just keep your mouth shut and do not just blaber. Kapil played like Lion in 1987 world cup semi final. Creeps 1. Sunul Gavasker 2. Dilip Vengi are the ones who clandestinely spoiled it. It is Mike Gatting of England who played reverse sweep in the final againest Ausis not Kapil.
