I think test cricket is only for those who knows cricket and play cricket, and not for those who just knows how to swing the bat. I think Dhoni belongs to the second category. So, I don't understand the logic behind Dhoni's inclusion into the test squad, when already you have a player of Karthik's class in the team, whose specialization is also wicket keeping. I think Dhoni should sit out and wait for his turn in one days. Let Yuvi come into the test squad and let karthik does his natural job of wicket keeping along with the added responsibility of a good batsman. I hope I will not see Dhoni playing the test cricket, Oh God, please listen to me............... Thank you very much my dear God.
from the next tour,kick out jabbar and get sehwag in.he is much more better player than jabbar.for present tour,leave jabbar outside and get yuvraj in the playing 11.dravid and karthick can open the innings.defenitly this move will boost the indian batting line up.

Baby, please think and then post your team. On what basis you wanted Dhoni in the team? Hey, do you think that Dhoni is a better WK compared to Karthik? Or you feel that Dhoni is the most indispensable player in the team? Come on Man, Don't look at Dhoni's adds and vote for him. Test cricket is not meant for him boys. He can put up some good performances only in the one days, that too not on regular basis. One day rankings don't really reflect the technique of the batsmen. There are few basics of cricket As batsman--- Play according to marit of the ball NOT THE BALLER cause a reputed bowler can also also bowl loose delivery..
As bowler---- Concenterate the batting skill NOT THE BATSMAN
If few of my friends know this difference then they will not stick to one particular player and view the performance of whole team and that will greatly improve your analytical knowledge...
But with your current thought its never be possible, bcoz every player has some good performance and when he fails u will justify his place in the team by recalling his old sweet memories, this can be good for a particular player BUT VERY DANGEROUS FOR THE TEAM...

The players we are now talking about are not plyers who prooved once in a bluemoon But has been consistently doing the job. The problem is that only one clicks at a time and this has been a bane for Indian cricket that we have been relying on induvidual performances and rely heavily on Sachin and Dravid till their shoulders drop and then....... we humiliate them publicly. we need atleast 2 to 3 batsmen performing in every match a Dravid or a Sachin one at a time is not enough
jaffer cannot cope with the movement and swing..bring in chopra! he'll do the business like he did against aus and pakistan! agarkar..i'm not a big fan but the 3rd bowler option is stronger with him there! why wait for the pane to crash..lets fix the problem now!! also..chawla isn't in the squad..but he's got the magic to take 7 wickets in the match at 30 runs per piece i guess..

The immediate step to improve Indian cricket is make few TERRIBLY FAST pitches and give enough exposure to energetic & dynamic junior players for bright future and for next 2-3 years lets bear with the existing system and available OLD WARRIORS
After that handover the charge to really charged youngesters who will not fear with pace and on the other end we will be able to prepare real FAST bowler cause fast bowling will be an excitment on such pitches

Dear Sharad Please bear in mind that this was reduced to a sachin critic forum hence strong words were used. Sachin Saurav and Dravid are pillars of indian cricket atleast now. We can debate on what better can be done but reducing it to a sachin bashing session is degrading the entire forum Hope Vivek could have realised that yesterday.

Laxman is going to make all the difference . You jut cannot afford to ignore him anymore. It would be to India"s peril. He won 10 to 15 teats singlehandedly yaar , see that stats. Only Sachin and Kumble have done it among others. VVS is a one man army and the mighty Aussies shiver with his presence. England is mincemeat for him. India would have won at least 20 tests and One dayers by excluding Laxman. It is a country"s loss and we have to bear the brunt. Anyhow , let them not repeat the MISTAKE. I am an ardent cricket fan and playing cricket for 40 years now. Please listen to me.
