A good cricketer of Newzealand McMillan who is back in the team after a long time, went for a sales man job when he was not playing cricket how many of our cricketers need a job.When players like sachin are earning crores of money its hard for him to quit cricket as he would lose his sponsors. There must be a rule where a player cannot play for more than a year in the INdian team. This would give oportunity to the millions of young cricketers waiting in queue

Sorry to say ..Meaning less comment. Why compare with money? I don't understand why people talk about ads and money when the game is discussed . Cricket team is not a place where every one can go and make some money. Will the cricketers go and act in ads in between every over which will be shown live. I guess most of the folks are jealous about the money that cricketers make . Cannot blame the narrow thinking of people. Sadly that is what we made up of.
Well...I have not seen an Indian team perform and choke so badly as they did in SA.I think they caught the SA syndrome.We could have easily when the 3rd test and had a historic Away-series win in SA.
My points for the failure are -
1)There is something terribly wrong in the Indian dressing room...(Some politics or Ego clashes..maybe...) that is affecting individual performances and lack of collective effort.Because I believe that the team definitely has a lot of talented,brainy players.
Solution:- All the concerned people should sit and sort out the differences between them and keep the country in front of them rather than individuality.If someone is not willing to do it..they should be thrown out of the team..no matter how great he is..we dont need selfish people representing our country.
2)If the above mentioned is not true then a great extent of Introspection into each player's performance has to be done by the coach and other support staff.
3)Then the player with the help of the support staff and other former players need to sort out the problems and have a clear plan in mind.
4)Execute the plan properly.
5) The same introspection,planning and Execution has to happen at the team level and more importantly in developing multiple strategies for each opponent team.If planA fails,then we should have a planB,C ready and execute it.We can have such plans only when we do this Study.
Bottomline -
There is no problem in this world that does not have a solution.It is just that right people have to think in the right way with total commitment and sincerity to get it.If BCCI,Selection Committee,Coach,Support Staff and the TEAM can genuinely do the IPE(Introspection,Planning and Execution) keeping the country alone in front of them,then this crisis situation can be solved easily and we can definitely see a much improved performance by the Team.

This seems to be an idea,but is it practically possible given the status of each Indian cricketer.Each one seems to be celebrity in his own style.

It is practically possible if all the concerned people place the country alone infront of them and try genuinely to resolve the issue.
his indian team does not play for the country.they really play for themselves.they are not genious but have been made out to be.genius are-ricky ponting,adam gilchrist,lara to an extent,gayle,flemming to name few.our cricters lack brains.they dont apply.they know nothing is going to take away their places specially know by tendulkar and dravid and few senior most players and if any axe falls ,it falls on junior players.they are always made scapegoats.look how sehwag is playing.i would not take him in my own friends team at the moment,such is his bad form.tendulkar thinks he still needs to prove something to world,i dont know what stops him from playing aggressively and dominating players which has earned him all the reputation till now.he has achieved all what he had to.now if he plays he must go there and without any fear tore the opposition till he remains at the crease. bowlers should fear from his presence,instead today all bowlers are not fearing him rather a newcomer also web his magic around him.our wall has fallen,dravid is not a good captain.its nothing to do with win or losses but few things he did as captain in south africa trip is questionable.and even its putting extra burden on him.
its high time all the players are treated equal by our selectors and who ever fails to deliver should not be picked.carrot and stick policy should be applied.if team performs well,give them incentives but if team dont perform they must be paid less if not paid at all..i dont think there is any problem with the coach..but still i feel INDIA SHOULD HAVE KAPIL DEV AS COACH AND GIVE HIM POWER ,AUTHORITY TO DO THINGS OF HIS LIKING. HE IS A LEGEND AND HE HAS THAT TEMPARAMENT WHO CAN SURELY IMPROVE THE OVERALL CONDITION OF OUR TEAM.PLEASE GIVE HIM A 2 YEAR TERM AND LET HIM DO THE JOB THE WAY HE WANTS. KAPIL DEV HAS PUT INDIA ON THE WORLD MAP OF CRICKET IN ONEDAY FORMAT FOR SURE.ITS TIME INDIA RECOGNISES HIM,HIS POTENTIAL AND THEN WE MAY THINK OF WINNING NOT ONLY WORLD CUP BUT MANY MANY TOURNAMENTS.TENDULAKR SHOULD EITHER RETIRE OR PLAY TO MAKE INDIA WIN NOT TO IMPROVE HIS RECORDS.TAKE EXAMPLE OF MC.GRATH AND WARNE, THEY COULD HAVE PLAYED FOR 5 YEARS STILL THEY CHOSE TO RETIRE.THATS THEIR GREATNESS.TENDULKAR NEEDS TO LEARN THIS.
It's crazy to blame Sachin for every loss India has!He's human too!!It's high time we gave Sachin the due respect he deserves..Lets not forget that he's been playing for almost 17years now...We treat him like 'God',but he's not,isn't it? It's high time the other 4/5 'Specialist' batsmen delivered.The poor guy was still the 2nd top scorer,was'nt he?
The media's assessment of Tendulkar is much like its opinion on Lata Mangeshkar of today. It keeps on and on and on praising them regardless of their current state. I wish the media really gives up its kiss-ass attitude and calls a spade a spade.

Overall it seems its was all preplanned to make Harbajan & Gambhir sit out and play with Munaf and Sehwag who are at present big burden on Indian Cricket team. Seems a big match fixing has gone in place and everyone in BCCI were aware of it and got there piece of bread.
Its very interesting at the end of every series whenever our team looses, Captain Dravid or earlier his predessessor Ganguly, always have a straight face while facing the media and uttering the famous words.. "Its a tough loss and we are devastated, however, on THIS tour, there are many positives that have been gained by the youngsters".
What a bunch of crap they are speaking. All these guys were once youngsters themselves, and still have not learnt what they had learnt in the earlier tours to several countries they have visited. How can we guarantee that the current crop of youngsters are not following the same footsteps of their famed seniors who have literally contributed next to nothing on this tour. Apart from old war horses Ganguly. Zaheer and Laxman, freshers Kaarthik and Sreesanth every one had a below par performance at best. Its seriously time to give a kick to the seniors and also drop them and probably they will show the same kind of hunger that Ganguly showed during the series.

I have only one question that why do we always expect our team to be on top and win all the games inspite of having a total non players group as selectors or the flop players as selectors.They select only their pets even it means a loss of game and shameful results. 1.Why Sehwag was repeated so many times when he was failing miserably. 2.Why Munaf was played when he cannot do the fielding at all . 3.Why Pathan was sent back. 4.Jafar tried and tried and managed to score 1 century which results all media piling accoldes on him. Totally ridiculous we had Gambhir waiting in the dressing room.He cold have opened with Ganguly but our good selectors cannot do that otherwise there pets wll be out because sure shot this pair could have scored centuries. So best game is to blame Sachin/Dravid/Kumble as if only these 3 players are only paid the money rest are on hineymoon. The SA debacle is total handiwork of our selectors and these 3 Sehwag/Jafar/Munaf patel. Now they have advised these 3 players alongwith otehrs to play Ranji Trophy and score runs heavily against medicore bowling attack. Mark my words Sehwag will score century alongwith Jafar and BCCI will declare that our friend is back in runs so he is selected for wprld cup. This is Indian Cricket board.God save India from politics.
