Dear Friends, Yes Dada is an excellent batsman may be great Left hand batsman. More than this he is an all-time great captain. We can not ignore the aging hero cannot serve to Indian cricket for long time. I feel we should give captaincy back to Dada and give his deputy's job to Dhoni, Who is also a great captain in making. I feel Dhoni needs some maturity to excel in all version of cricket. Looking at the age of Kumble I feel Dada would have been a better option.
ganguly is the only indian captain we ever had who has the killer instincts like the australians.(steve waugh,mark taylor) and that's why he was successful enough.

YES. Dada should be the captain, because To lead india a person should have more leadership qualities than just cricketing talent. in short Sourav is really a royal tiger.
I think its about time that Ganguly was given the captaincy again. Kumble is a great cricketer and has definitely done a good job as captain - but not a great job. We need to have a fighter as a captain not a gentleman like Kumble or Dravid - a bit of agression and motivational spirit is the order of the day. Dhoni is still to raw and great for a mohalla or state team but for the Indian captaincy..naah!! Ganguly will make a difference against sides like Australia, South Africa and of course England hell we probably need that spirit against even Bangladesh!! Go Ganguly!! He is in fine nick at the moment & the selectors should take advantage of this to hand him the captaincy at the earliest.

Ganguly has better leadership capabilities than any other Indian Player at the moment and he seems to be in good touch (again). The Ganguly/ Tendulkar and Dravid all have no replacement today. The critics must have looked to the records of these players in comparison to other players in world. They are truly great cricketers and should not be discussed for their game till India find a equivalent replacement for them. Cheers

Yes, I also do hope that Ganguly may give better results as he is the best as leader among our all present players. I also believe that leader can turn the performance around with the same team mates.
I,Sushovan Chanda ,am a student of B.H.S.in class X. I can not do good result in class VII&VIII just like dada in year 2005 & 2006 .But now I again stand third in class IX & X at the time of dada's glorious time . so I must say my elder brother is sourav
Ganguly Should be made the Captain & I am sure he will tighten the screws of those taking things too easy. I am sure Team India will move on a winning road once again.

Ganguly was proven as a successful captain but Kumble is doing good also.Let not put captainship's burdain on Ganguly again.Let him play in free mind.As Kumble is a great player let not treat him the way Ganguly was treated (courtesy -- Greg,More and Dravid).Let kumble be in the captainship for some more time.

this is right bcause he was the only one who made his team into the finals in world cup 2003 he was very sggressive captain of indian cricket team . he also challenged andrew flintoff in the natwest series and beat the england side . BCCI should give one more chance to DADA . if they can give chance to sachin then why not ganguly even ganguly has great record.

SO,you have agreed that Ganguly was the best in 2007,compared to his past performance as a captain or player.That's why he shud be made now captain again as he has come back with all his new energy,fighting spirit&willpower from such a downstream(during his discard period from cricket team last yr)where a mountain of humiliation imposed on him and all so-caled intelectuals adviced him to quit but he bravely fought against his removal and reverted back as a hero what nobody else in past&present Indian cricket team cud face and dared to fight for come back.Now, when he has come back and is performing better than his past(truly inspirable),overcoming the age factor,it shows his beter consistency,strong mind and resistance power to all criticism and right answer to his critics.If he would not have performed well,you would ask for why Ganguly was taken back and you would also add that removing him from the team was the right decision.Ganguly never thought,captaincy was a burden rather he enjoyed&chased for it.Because he is the real tiger(who tastes blood thru. winning&wants more blood)and a real team leader.He is the best captain of ever India in facts&figure also.He was dropped when as a capt during zim. tour,he made tons&won the series.He was even better in 2003(when capt.) in avg. than 2007. what do u think about S.R.Tendulkar ? Except 'Sharjah' does he help India to win ? I hope u should n't throw stone whenever u are also sitting inside the glass house . As an Indian U should obey all players good performance.

Anirban,you have chosen a wrong target. Frankly speaking Saurav doesnt stand anywhere near the stature of Sachin. We admit that Ganguly is great but Sachin is uncomparable. You also need to go through some statistical reference books to check Sachins match winning performances. Your memory is shortlived and biased.

iam sure mumbaikar is a typicla ghat..who tays in the chawls of dadar or kandivilli or dombivilli and plays underarm cricket just like other mumbaikars do...during his off time. Play cricket like a man

The cricket in India has been suffering from the persons like U who does not want to look into other peoples other than mumbaits. Remember, Indian crickets has had a long tragedy of placing useless peoples into international arena - most of them from Mumbai.
