I have immense respect for Kumble, he's a gentleman. But in the present scenario, I feel had Ganguly been the Captain, he would have treated the Aussies as they deserve... and would have payed them in their own coins... what do u all say guys??
History says India has never degraded any other team from the beginning... but when it comes to defending our own country/team's respect then it has always stood their as a united team. Best of Luck to Team India for the next Test Match...

AGAR DADA CAPTAIN HOTA NA INT KA JABWAB PATHAR SE DETA I THINK HE IS THE BEST MAN TO ANSWER THE AUSIES.
I think dada is playing spendidly.. he should continue his form and convert his fifties into big centuries.. If he was the captain for india in australian tour he would opposed the australian aggression in wright way BCCI should take this into account..
As a dada fan I remember the deep depression I had when he was DUMPED. I thought perhaps he can try some other country after the mandatory 4 years of gap. I learnt what will power is when dada actually came back from NO WHERE. Dada has given me the confidence to achieve and live life on my own terms. He is good man for me. I want to meet him.

Hi Tushar, dont talk about regionalism. It is Bengal who showed how to fight during the independence movement. Be fair and try to be an Indian and appreciate a player and not an individual of any region, caste or creed. Hope good sense prevails on you.

How come it boils down to a Bengali-Bengali relation? Isn't Ganguly a great player? At least the figures say so!

Emotional Cretins. that's what Indians are. Don't project your bipolar emotions and conflicts or their resolution to external entities. Dada or his dada were never there for you, will never be. Go get a life, dudes!

Now, everyone is reiterating the point - Ganguly to become indian captain again. Australian tours were always bitter due to umpiring decisions. Yes, ganguly is the only captain who always responded strongly against such wrong doings and he didn't even mind getting penalised and losing his goodwill in ICCI forums. Now only everyone even realized the importance of a captain who is aggressive, bold, tough and proactive. Dada, we remember you always as the most befitting captain of India!!! We know and admire the hard work behind your come back into team India!

Dear Abhilash, You said it right, until and unless wea re vocal and put our views forward no one is going to give a damn, even when I faced such instances when I used to go abroad, I used to raise my voice and I got my things done sooner than expected, Gnaguly has that potential, and we need such Captains in the Team
Look at you all, how racist are you all in your own country. South can't like North and Viceversa. Mumbai doesn't like Kolakata players. what is this and you guys are complaining against Australian, English and American racial remarks and wrong doing to us and our players.
BIG SHAME ON YOU GUYS. Grow up. Look at your true colors. This is the reason, India was ruled by foreigners for so long time. After so many years of fighting we have got our freedom to some wrong hands. If we don't learn it now we will never learn and future of this country is nothing but DARK.

Abhijit says: It is not the point that who is better or less better. It is the hour of crisis where the worst wrong doers are getting recognised as the best side with all their mischiefs and discriminations and indian team getting deprived of the legitimate right of justice against wrong umpiring and all odd malicious allegations and subsequent punishments. At this hour we as a whole nation should stand up and protest and boycott the games. Here requires an upright and strong man to stand up crush the farce and chitters. There was example in the past that Ganguly as acaptain and as Indian had protested and got punished as much as six players of the wrong doings(But not as Bengali Player but as an Indian player). It was also fact that even after doing so much for the country as a reknowned player and his contribution to the cricket as a most successfull captain, he was discriminated and neglected and humiliated in hands of Chappel and so called associated our own Indian selectors/former players cum chief selectors. However, at the present situation the first and foremost priority is the befitting reply to the extreme humiliation the Indidian team is facing in Australia, but to get solved in adignified way including the false allegations made against Harbhajan. We must remember "Gandhiji" in South Africa. How he replied to the wrong doing white man where he was completely alone and handled the situation uprightedly. After all the situation is the prestige of the whole country. JAI

This message should not be mistaken as negetive one. It is depicted as the positive and Ganguly's fight for the whole team and as a whole for the country.

I don't agree to this. This liking is only on the part of a few people, who are rightly named as " BUNCH OF JOKERS", by Mahinder Amarnath. Do not generalize the issue.
