Most of the people saying that dravid should retire and with 2 centuri of ganguli people saying he is the only guy in ... lallalal BUT realistic is different still dravid is far better than ganguli, with the form ganguli should retire 3-4 year back but because of his ganda politics his getting chance in the team all the time. just go crickinfo and see statuguru you will get correct picture.
1)The 300 runs partnership between Sourav & Yuvi is the 2nd highest partnership amongst left hander batters in tests.The top rank partneship by left handed bastmen is held by great Brian Lara & Jimmy Adams against the aussies. This partnership scored 322 runs
This 300 runs stand is also among the top 10 partnership for the fifth wicket partnership in test.
2) This Yubraj Singh's 3rd test century in test, and all of them were scored against Pak.
3) India's first day's score 365 is the highest total scored by any team on any indian ground in first day of a test.
4) Ganguly scored successive centuries in tests 4 number times.
I think India can reach to 500 runs, if both Sourav & Kartik can form a partnership.
Both the batsmen have to play quite sensibly in the first hour of the match to avoid any wicket loss, once the pitch becomes easy, both of them are capable to make huge runs.
Sourav created the team india with the aggressiveness which was nonexistent before, I was so surprised to see people hating him so much when he out of form, same way as they hate dravid and tendulkar, indian cricket fans doesnt hv the patience or cricketing sense, they just expect miracle from everybody from every match, when will they grow up and stand beside these world class cricketers who have gained international applause!!!!!!!!!!!!

Any sane person will agree with you. Actually these senseless fans only put unnecessary pressure on the players. If we can behave rationally I am sure Indian players will play freely and perform better. But who will listen?
I wonder why we all love to talk so much about Ganguly..there is sumthg abt this guy...some love him..some hate him but no one really can ignore him..anyways..I like Ganguly's guts..always did..and he is proving it again..e knows..thats how he became such a succesful captain..he cared a damn even if the oppostion was australia..liked that attitude..we always have been guilty of saying (including me) that how ganguly was benifited by sachin sehwag dravid laxman n all during his reign..but if look at it logically..many of these guys were playin before Ganguly became captain and rest were more or less ganguly's inventions..there was sumthg abt his man management abilities..taali dono haath se bajti hai..he demanded the team to perform and they responded..it was like a matter of pride back den..neways I am getting a wierd feeling about this guy which I initially thought of sharing but well I ll keep it to myself..else u guys will start bashing me...lol..all I would say Ganguly's career has been like fairy tale..creating team india..being aggressive..getting bashed up and making a comback...I sumhow feel there is something more thts gonna happen in this fairy tale..but right now it looks absurd...so I wnt share it..so if it eva happens..and if I am around den..we will def talk abt it
