Because Manoj is still waiting for his maiden appearance.
Others got but made a mess of it.
Manoj hails from UP but domiciled in Bengal.
Bengalis like Saurav has the mind to appreciate people irrespective of religion or language.
Bongs never raise anti- Hindi slogans or stopped the telecast of Hindi news.

They both have not played tests nor have they messed up like you are saying they did. You are lying. So get your facts straight before you talk bull shit. Prove what you are saying by facts and not lies.

man,
all of us can understand how supposedly complex your messages are. You want entire nation to sing paeans of praise and worship Ganguly like some God and when you find someone criticizing instead it is hard for you to respond to good well-balanced criticisms and instead refer to some meaningless rants about white rule.

Come on Dada ... This is your golden chance.
by Ganesh Ramesh on Dec 09, 2007 10:46 AM  | Hide replies

Dada ...come on. This is the best chance for you to score a Double Hundred. You & Yuvi did all the hardwork initially and saved India when we were slumping at 61/4 to bring us to 400 today. Now please play carefully and don't miss scoring 1st double hundred in your career.

Ganguly's highest score in Test cricket is 173 and surprisingly he hasn't scored 200 at all.
Also Dada's average is 41.48 in Tests, which is lesser than Laxman (44.31) , Sehwag (49.46), Sachin (55.06) and Dravid (56.26).

Whatever it maybe.. its a delight to watch the GOD of OFFIDE...Ganguly caress those deliveries and pepper the offside with his belligerent strokeplay.

All lefthanders are delightful to watch and though Ganguly's average may not be in Top 5,
he still deserves to round off his career with a double hundred which has eluded him all through. This is Dada's best chance and he must not waste it like Yuvi did getting out on 169 after playing so amazingly well and demolishing the opposition.

Come on DADA. All other players in Top 5 have got Double hundreds. Now you also get it. You are amongst the world's classiest Left handed batsmen. Come on Dada. Get it today. Whole of India supports you. We want to see a double hundred from you before you retire from Tests after Aussie tour.

Dravid -Open or Retire
by Ricky Thukral on Dec 09, 2007 10:36 AM  | Hide replies

Yuvraj has again shown why needs to be in playing 11 for the aussie tour.
Sachin Laxman and Ganguly have performed well in the last three meaningfull tours...against south africa...and england.

Dravid failed in south africa and england..now again...he is the worst in the line up apart from karthik.

So if Dravid wants to play he should be ready to open as we can use Laxman at number 3 in australia.
If we have to play two specialist openers then we need to drop dravid for laxman.

out middle order looks solid...sachin laxman yuvraj ganguly...

we need to get rid of the HOLE---DRAVID.

Why the hell should Dravid open? Let Yuvraj open like Sehwag did. Sehwag was not an opener but he was willing to open because the middle order was filled up like it was now. So if Yuvraj wants a place in the team then he should open with Jaffer. Why should Dravid do the dirty work all the time?

who leaked the email was it Chappell are you sure ? who was the first person to leak stuff happening in dressing room at press-conference. Dont worry I am not supporting Chapppell here but he was as guilty as Ganguly in the whole saga and not the sole person responsible. Nice to see Ganguly has matured and has let his bat do the talking rather than his mouth earlier.

People here
by Girish Rao on Dec 09, 2007 10:28 AM

are comparing Chappell's appointment as coach to something connected with British and freedom fight and their perceived insults and humiliation. Ridiculous really, Chappell was not here to lord over India and loot India like the Britishers. He was here as a coach and as a coach he felt like a lot of Indians except the bongs of course that Ganguly was not doing well it is simple as that. You should feel proud that atleast in cricket field we are now in a position to get white guys to listen to us and that the white guys are willing to leave their family behind to coach Indian cricket team. It shows the power of Indian cricket economics something to be proud of.

Behaviour by Kolkatans
by Rambothu S on Dec 09, 2007 10:20 AM  | Hide replies

I am not into this bong business, but I think I understood Kolakatans when they behaved that way in the Indo-SA ODI. They were honest in their behaviour. I think 100000 people cannot be dishonest spontaneously - it is churlish to believe it. There must have been mistakes committed. I am happy that they are ok now as the recent test match with a lot of tricolours in the stands show.

Who agrees with whose views on Sourav?

Who agrees with whose views on Sourav?
Good or bad?

Man, Gangulys appear in this world very rare.
Look at the face, look at the grace, and look at the emotions.
Look at his pleasures, look at his pains, and look at the man who is a commander.
Look at him who rescued Indian cricket from the bookies.

Look at the man who charged the averages and ordinaries in to performers.

You guys put pedestrians and soldiers ahead of the leader.
