The entire Cricket Board is a perfect example of POLITICS, MONEY SWINDLING bunch of Jokers (as said by Atapattu about Srilankan Board). I was playing cricket for the last 15 years at different level. The POLITICS in the local board as well as the Country Board made me quit cricket and also stop watching all this non sense. I think people like Bishen Singh, Kapil etc are the guys who can clean up the entire system. Gary Kirsten who once made stupid comments about the Indian Cricket team is going to be a coach and people like Robin Singh will be assisting him, What a shame?

It is better that Mr.Pawar resign as Agriculture Minister and concentrate on Cricket.Because Agriculture Dept.is more cricial to the nation than the idiotic time pass cricket.Even if he does lot of BUNGLING in BCCI it will affect the common man. For the sake of Common man Mr.Pawar should do a sacrifice once in his lifetime by resigning from Ministry.

Pawar does not give a hoot for the common man or for the cricket players. All he is interested is in the power and money he gets for himself from the powerful and rich Agriculture Ministry. It is all about money and power. That is why Pawar is a politician all his life. He has only a political and business mindset.

Like Pawar cares for the farmers. He has become agriculture Minister to make money for himself. He became BCCI chief to make money for himself. Like Pawar gives a damn about cricket? Even if he goes to a match he will certainly be catching up on his sleep than watching the game. Pawar gives a hoot about cricket. Being BCCI chief is the best way to make money for a politician like Pawar.
This crap vengy went on air during the world cup with none other than Karan Thapar, saying how he was sure of dropping Sehwag from the world cup squad and that is if not for Dravid's insistence, now if this was not putting undue pressure on Sehwag at a time when the team is playing in the world cup then what was it. And here he justifies his selection gimmicks in his news paper columns as if that was a proper forum to do that. Now we need to find a new word than unprofessional for this Moron

Vengsarkar will get asylum in Kolkota now because he has the most fans tere as he dropped Dravid. He seems to have the most fans in the Chinese friend city.

Pls explain what you mean by "Chinese friend city"? I do not know when your city was built and when it became a part of any civilization. But to call a city of Ray, Tagore or Amartya Sen a city of chinese is grossly an offensive statement.
One thing I can say is that whatever that is happening is not good for the Indian Cricket. Whether Vengaskarkar is right or the BCCI - is not the issue. Instead of washing dirty linen in public, let them settle the issue behind closed doors amicably in the interest of the game, lest it affects the morale of the players also. Also, let us not give regional colour to the whole issue!

Vengsarkar was allowed to write columns for the first year of his tenure during which he agreed not to write on individual player performances ... Why is there a sudden change?
Why is there high handedness with BCCI?? I think it serves Vengsarkar right after he took out personal vendetta against Dravid .. but when will the system get cleansed??? Currently, apart from BCCI, everybody is falling into pits creating by themselves ...
