vengi dropped dravid from the odi team bcuz of his ego problem.Even he called dravid one dimanatioanll player knowing that dravid in odis has 10 K runs, highest catcht holder and highest winning % as captian. As a chief selector vengsarkar never supported dravid instead he always insulted dravid by giving biased statement / criticising dravid at the end of series 0r beginning of match in the public. no other senior player dropped from odi team after just failure in one series But dravid did not utter a single word in media against any body or vengi but vengsarkar now using media and try to save his face. vengsarkar should be sacked from the post

dravid is not anybody's chamacha dravid as captain managed team for 80 days tour to england, won the test series after 2 decades even some superstar players and vengsarakar chief selector tried all dirty tricks. IT WAS GANGULY WHO WAS DALMIAYS CHAMACHA AND HE BACKSTABBED DALMIAYA WHEN LATER ONE LOST BCCI ELECTION

thats your perception, because he dint support an out of form ganguly. besides, chapell might have been a lousy coach - but his idea of getting in youth paid off in the T20 WC.

do u want a chamcha? That is Ganguly? How did he survive in the team without any performances and how did he made it into the team with out any performances.
When Indian cricket team goes abroad for a play, here you can see who will go a) 15 players and their Wives , kids, parents , siblings ( one player may have minimum 5 members . So total player and family will be 90 b) Coach : Batting, Bowling, Feilding, Main coach . So total will be 4 c) Board memebers with family . Minimum 3 per one member . Average will be 30 d) Doctor , Physio ,Yoga instructor, Gym trainer . So total will be 4 So one side of the stadium including VIP pavilion will be filled with indian team management.

It is high time BCCI is also made accountable for its' actions by an act of the Parliament. If by being selected by BCCI is akin to being selected to represent India officailly then BCCI needs have a Principal Secretary - Central Government ranked person heading it & not a bunch of no good politian turned (mis)administrators!
Does anybody knows about Jaydev Shah in cricket field? he got selected in India recently. This gentelman father is great Cricket board member Niranjan Shah. It's appear to have been a spat over Jr. Shah selection in India A team. Venky wasn't happy with this selection but due to Niranjan force he couldn't do it much.
It's one of the other issue which force him to think about quit.

Vengsarkar may have his legitimate grouses. But Vengsarkar was also involved in a lot of mischief behind the scenes which have not been leaked to the media. The case of Dravid quitting captaincy after winning a series in England after many years is a case in point. If Vengsarkar had been clean then everyone would have backed Vengsarkar. But then again Vengsarkar has been pretty busy being naughty ever since he became selector's chairman. But then everyone also knows Niranjan Shah is a full time crook.

he didnt played for India..he played for saurasthra...around 12 first class matches and 24 innings ..with average of 19.....

Wow 12 first class matches 24 innings for Saurashtra and an average of 19.00. This is what i call cruel fate Niranjan Shah's record is smaller than a mole in front of Vengsarkar's,and sharad pawar cannot even hold the bat, Such people are dictating terms to Vengsarkar. BCCI IS GREAT. I think Marvan Attapattu's words would suit BCCI very well, "BUNCH OF MUPPETS RUN BY A JOKER"

Vengsarkar is feeling hurt by what Pawar had quipped!He needs to realise that he had questioned the commitment of a Great player like Rahul Dravid when he stepped down as captain for personal reasons.Vengsarkar needs to realise that Rahul Dravid has contributed so much to Indian Cricket and surely deserves to be treated with Respect and Courtesy. People like Vengsarkar can realise Ground Reality only when they experience things First Hand.It is easy to sit from the sidelines and pass judgement (erroneous)on People who have to perform!

no wonder he's called the colonel. he thinks its military clout that he's got in insulting others, well, he got paid by the same coin! whatever the reason, bcci seems to be a lousy outfit who HAVE to fight it out in the media.
